Jukka the Sling

At that precise moment, Mirelle emerged from the galley holding a steaming bowl of soup. She blew on it, not noticing Bryony and Monka, but she looked up just in time to see the former kiss the latter. The ottermaid nearly dropped her bowl in surprise, and then backed off as quietly as possible so they wouldn't notice somebeast had seen them. Once she was back in the kitchens, she laughed at herself and the whole situation.

Mycroft continued serving former slaves and woodlanders bowls of soup.
-------------------------
Fern seated herself at the head of the table in Great Hall as more Redwallers began arriving and sat down to breakfast.
-------------------------
Glirid sat down as well, anxious to begin eating.

Marshall kept serving away. He needed to go fetch some more bowls. He put the soup down and hurried to find more. He ran past Mirelle in the kitchens who was laughing a little bit.
''Whats so funny Mirelle?''
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Bryony laughed with pure delight, and without thinking, almost, she brought her face closer to Monka's, and lightly planted her lips on his.

OOC: There! I've done! I feel like a complete and total idiot, but I've done it!
OOC:  ;D Oh....wait. I've got to reply now.  :-X

BIC: Monka embraced Bryony tighter, as if he'd never let go. He kissed her affectionately, and all the time the only thing running through his head was.
At last. I've found peace, and happiness.

OOC: *Shudders from the awkwardness*

Mirelle glanced up from her soup. "Oh, hi, Marshall. Uh..." She realized two things at once. One, that it probably wouldn't be polite to Bryony and Monka to say why she was laughing. Two, that no one else would quite understand what was so funny about her almost intruding on a couple's private moment and then backing off. She found it funny because it was so surprising (one minute Bryony was yelling at Skip, and the next she was... yeah...), and because she was sure her expression as she backed off must've looked really weird. But the ottermaid knew she couldn't explain that to Marshall.

"Um, it's kinda hard to explain. In fact, I don't think it'd be that terribly funny to you," Mirelle continued as she ate another spoonful of soup, feeling kind of embarrassed.

Breakfast was soon served, and Fern began eating, a smile still on her face. It felt so good to know that Mycroft and everyone else would be back soon.

OOC: I have to agree with Jukka: Awkward. . . . (Jukka, it's not even one of your charries!)

BIC: Bryony was half amazed that Monka didn't pull back, but pulled her closer. Ah, wel.. Who really cared right no?

Gonff the Mousethief

''Please tell, even if its not I still would like to hear.''
Marshall was hoping she would tell. Her expression told him that she was embarrassed about it.

OOC: Yeah, I know, but it's still really awkward. :P

"Uh..." She wasn't sure how she could work her way out of this one. Slowly, she ate some more soup to buy some time. But after a moment, she gave up and decided she should just tell Marshall what had happened. "Um... Bryony... and Monka... kissed." There. She'd said it. The ottermaid suddenly became very focused on blowing on her soup, meanwhile hoping that Bryony wouldn't find out she'd told somebeast. She could foresee a very painful death in store for her if that happened.

A great big grin spread across the blue foxes face.
"I see what's so funny!"
He started to chuckle. He wasn't going to tell Bryony he knew. He would get Mirelle in loads of trouble if he did.
"Thank you for the information!"
He sped off to find his bowls.

OOC: Ok, who thinks we should do a time skip to where their almost back at the Abbey? Cus really it'll probably take them maybe three days at most to get back without anyone rowing.

Gonff the Mousethief

OOC: Sounds good with me. I was running out of ideas to do with Marshall  :P

OOC: Yes, pleez. Oh, idea for Martin-the-Ghosty!

Cornflower MM

OOC: Oh, nothing. Just him popping up again, and being sarcastic. And telling Fern that today is THE day.

rachel25

OOC: Ok, then. So unless Jukka wants to do something, we can skip.
