Hidden Within The Walls: Part Two

OOC: Sorry, guys! Yeah, I'm fine with a time-skip.

OOC: Ok, then. So, we'll go back to when their all in Mossflower Woods, almost back at Redwall Abbey.

BIC: Monka trudged on through Mossflower Woods behind a group of ex-slaves. Everyone was talking excitedly, all eager to get back to the Abbey. Whereas Monka was feeling quite nervous. He'd never been to Redwall, and he was afraid that the beasts there wouldn't like him or something. He was especially scared of meeting Bryony's brother. Monka doubted he'd be pleased about his sister marrying someone he'd never met.

[Cornflower MM]

Bryony was at the head of the group with Mycroft and Skipper, since she'd been at the Abbey before, but dropped to where Monka was. "Hi." She said, with a smile.

"Oh, hi." Monka smiled nervously.

OOC: Have they told anyone their gonna get married yet?

[Cornflower MM]

OOC: Hmm. . . . What about keeping it a surprise? Also, slight PP. I can change it.

BIC: "Why are you so nervous? Bryant will like you. If not, he'll have to deal with me." Bryony said, slipping her paw inside Monka's reassuringly.

Bryant was happily reading a good thick book, when he heard a small noise. Looking up, he saw misty letters. If you'd like to greet your sister, I'd suggest you find somebody to lean on and start hobbling down the path. Now. After reading that twice, the letters disappeared and he whooped happily. Sister Lupine poked her head in and asked if everything was alright. "Oh, yes, Sister. But could you help me down to the path?" He asked. "Of course, dear." The mouse replied, coming over to the bed and helping him up.

Martin was looking for the Abbess,. Again. He soon found her, and floated in front of her, waiting.

OOC: Its fine.

BIC: Monka squeezed Bryony's paw thankfully. "He won't survive if he goes up against you." He joked, a cheery smile spreading across his face.

[Cornflower MM]

Bryony laughed. "No, it's likely he won't."  She replied.

Monka slipped his hand out of Bryony's, and put his arm around her waist. "So, tell me. What's Redwall Abbey like then?"

[Cornflower MM]

Bryony smiled, "Well, it's red, for one thing." She stopped, to laugh quietly, then continued. "There's a beautiful orchard, and a pond, with a lovely view from the walltops. The creatures there are wonderfully friendly, and nice. The food is like nothing you've ever tasted."

"It better be. I'm starving." Monka sighed.

[Cornflower MM]

Bryony laughed again, louder this time. "It isn't far now." She said, smiling. Up near the front of group, Skipper smiled. He'd never heard Bryony laugh so much, and he had a few suspicions about her and Monka. But he kept them to himself.

Bryant was hobbling as fast as he could with his broken leg. It wasn't very fast, but at the moment he and Sister Lupine were trying to get the main gate open. . . . There! Grabbing a random sturdy stick, he used as a crutch, going down the path.

Monka thought he saw something up ahead. Then he saw Redwall.
His jaw actually dropped, and a look of pure adoration spread across his face. "It's huge." he whispered.

[Cornflower MM]

Bryony smiled, then something caught her eye on the path. Something tan-colored. She shrieked, and started running. Soon she was ahead of the group, and Bryant laughed happily, trying to hobble faster. Then, the next thing he knew, he was being smushed, and his paws were an inch of the ground. "Can't. . . Breathe." He spluttered, hugging Bryony back.

Monka watched Bryony shoot off, and shyly stood where he was. He could see Bryony hugging who he guessed, must be Bryant up ahead.

OOC: I think we need to slow down a bit for Jukka, and Gonff.

OOC: Yeah, probably.
