Also... It's August. It's been like... Three or four months. Five? I don't actually know what month Easter is in, seeing as it's not a holiday I celebrate and I'm bad at time anyway...

  You can hunt for eggs all year round, can you not?  (And Easter is generally either in March or April, depending upon the moon, I believe.)

  And about the egg...

I am really, really, really, really sorry about what happened. I've never had so much as a bee sting before, but I'm sure that a concussion would be way worse.    I hope you feel better soon, Corny!
