Wow, interesting topic to run across. :)

If I had to choose, I would either be the gatekeeper because I love reading, and have a thing for history, or I might be a gardener.  I'm not great with plants, but I don't kill them either. ;)
It's usually the recorder or Abbot/Abbes who do the history reading stuff the gatehouse is just where they store them.
No, the Gatekeepers did some historian stuff also
That's why I said usually
Never trust a smiling pirate.  :D

I can do that because I'm awesome.

Faiyloe

I picked Skipper, Fourmole, Warrior, and other (Being the person who just helps out anywhere and everywhere.)
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Wylder Treejumper

Skipper, Cellarkeep, Friar, Warrior.

I like cooking. I also like eating.

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

Kitsune

I would want to be the Infirmary Keeper, the Friar, the Gatekeeper or the Recorder.

Captain Tammo

I'd want to be either foremole or, even better, A BELLMAKER!
"Cowards die a thousand times, a warrior only dies once. The spirits of all you have slain are watching you, Vilu Daskar, and they will rest in peace now that your time has come. You must die as you have lived, a coward to the last!" -Luke the warrior

Russano the Wise

For me, I think I would enjoy being the gate keeper or recorder, or maybe a gardener.
"But if you really love your friends, they're never really gone. Somewhere they're watching over you and they're always there inside your heart." -Martin the Warrior

Edraithel

"A cage," she said. "To stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire." - Eowyn, Lord of the Rings

The Skarzs

Cave of Skarzs

Cave potato.

Looking at it from the perspective of how I actually am, I wouldn't want a job with too much responsibility for fear of messing up! Something quite quiet and cosy within the abbey - though I would like to venture out; I don't like staying constantly in the same place! So perhaps Recorder or another quieter thing, including the unmentioned jobs like a creative designer or something, or even being an odd-job animal. Hmm... what does the Friar actually do?

The Friar is like the chief cook, who tells everybody what to do and stuff.

Jewel Thief

Skipper of Otters
Cellar Keeper
Gatekeeper
Warrior
Though I certainly wouldn't pass up the chance to be Resident Abbey Food Taster, if that chance ever occurred. ;)
Hey Jewel thief where do you get, all those silver pistols?
Hey Jewel thief where do you get, all those arrowheads?

Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

In order are my three choices.

1, Other/ Warrior Merchant would be my first choice.
2, Warrior
3, Beekeeper

Skyblade

I would probably want to be the Recorder. I don't think I'm tough enough to be a warrior, and I can't imagine treating wounds :P I would just try to help however I can.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!
