Arya rolled her eyes, and started to walk away. Males....It seemed they weren't happy unless they were playing with their "toys". Even Raven, whih was a shame.

"Where you going? Not interested in this?" Dregnar picked up a gear and fit it to another. "Well, alright; but it might be a good idea for everybeast to get acquainted with the new weapons."

Valerian stopped tightening a bolt for a moment, and loosened his grip on his spanner. "Yes, it's fair important you can shoot some of these new weapons. They don't have a standard safety/fire procedure." He turned to Dregnar quizzically. "In fact, do we have safeties at all on these weapons?"

The Shade

"Ah, Arya. Yeah, I'm really sorry for just leaving yer to wander about. Should have got yer a bite to eat, or shown a room," Raven said, a touch awkwardly. "Anyway, seems yer find a way about. You been here before?"
They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

"Um, unless that stuff is anything like this" -Arya pulled out one of her more complicated arrows -" Then I'm clueless. Besides, that looks like a big pile of junk to me. And if you don't have safeties on those things, I'm not using them. It really would be safer." Arya admitted, then put the arrow back in her quiver. She had no idea that the arrow was quite complicated. "I've never seen this tree before in my life, Cap'n Raven. Would have been impossible, considering the fact that I was in slavery all my life until a few seasons ago, and even then I've never been outside the city." Arya said frankly to Raven. "And Ilex showed me to a room." She added.

Valerian grunted. "Huh. Safeties. Who needs 'em? I don't, that's for sure." He continued, with a grin. "'Leastways, I hope not. 'I've been using this thing long enough without one."

The Skarzs

"Safeties?" Dregnar said slowly. ". . . No. . . In fact, it's entirely possible that they begin to fire by themselves. (Unstable, yes, but it's still the first prototype)." He placed a barrel on a circular piece of metal, moving it around slightly to find the proper place for it. "Come to think of it, 'safe' is a word that I cannot allow to be put into affect in my job."

Arya shrugged, and started to walk away, when she noticed a few things that she could use for one of her ideas for an arrow, so she plopped down and started to assemble it. "Don't mind me - I'm just inventing a new arrow." She said, fiddling with the piecves.

Frinlen gave a warm smile as he threw his arm around Dregnar's shoulder.
"With guns like those, I could get used to you being here." He said, eyeing the weapon up and down.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Cornflower MM

Arya completed one arrow prototype and held it up. "What do you guys think? Yes? No? It's supposed to split in three arrows in flight, giving you three chances to hit your target, or make it's dead." She really did want their opinion, and she also wanted to show them she wasn't a complete dunce at this sort of thing.

The Skarzs

"You could have some type of explosive or something on the tips," Dregnar said. "That way they would be even more effective. Or you're just going to pass off that idea because it involves something only I would enjoy." Dregnar stood straight, looking down at Frinlen. "I'm not done yet, but I'd be happy if you could locate a brazing rod for these pieces."

Arya thought for a moment, then looked at the pieces. "Alright, cat. That sounds like an interesting idea. I'm not prejudiced, you know. Hah, one of my few friends was a weaselmaid." She remarked, then started picking over the pile of things, and frowned, then muttered a small curse. 'It's at times like these I really wish I had my tool pouch again....But, no, they just had to confiscate it when they found it." She muttered.

The Skarzs

"Who?" Dregnar asked curiously. "You get into trouble with the empire?"
