And I cannot see them picturing Bragoon and Saro's deaths very well. In fact, they might even remove that part, basically saying they went on travelling.

Oh, I dunno. The old cartoon still may've toned down the violence & brutality of the books--which is one of the things I like about it--but it still played for keeps. Good guys died then, and they could still die again. Especially since Bragoon & Saro had one of the best death scenes in the series!

I'll be honest - I don't like and never did like the animated tv series. Just does not picture things in the right way compared to my mind. Too cheesy and annoying.

If a film is ever made, I would only accept it if was animated to the quality level of Avatar, for example, but rendering all that fur would be a complete nightmare I imagine...

I quite like the way Nelvana censored violence, but I don't think a little blood would hurt anyone. Not, like, massive spurts of blood whenever someone's stabbed, or gorily animated kill scenes, but bloodstains and bloody weapons would make sense. Still, I think that could become aversive (To me, at least.) if it was taken just a little too far.

The other option would be old style animation - like that of Wind in the Willows.

Yeah, but. . . well. . . the whole story has been butchered. Also, it has close to the same type of animation as The Rescuers movies.

Yes, I have. Yeah, that'd make sense.

And yeah, they made a movie out of it. But if you're watching it, don't even think of it as the same storyline, because it's not. It's pretty good and I enjoyed it, but it's most definitely not the book.
