(Desperately trying to get my brother to talk to you guys on here, but it isn't working)
I'm going to tell you a story. . .
Of how my brother lost a finger. . .
That fateful December day. . .

Anyhow, yeah. We had come back home a week earlier from what we call the 'Thanksgiving from Hell'. I nearly broke both my legs riding a quad, and the rest of the people there weren't very nice. Anyway, he is very into a robotics program, and was working on the robot's track at his school. He was using a table saw, and it popped, and threw his hand into the blade. Now, he has only a stub for an index finger on his right hand, and the feeling is all messed up on his middle finger and thumb.

       I could not love like that! I use that finger to do most of my clicking, and a large portion of my typing. Besides that, I point with that finger pretty much anytime I need to point.

Give 'em my regards, because I just would not be able to stand that.

He's a little older than you are, Dan. Yeah, he had to relearn how to write, as well as get used to eating with his left hand and pointing with his pinky. (Cause, y'know, it'd be bad if he pointed with the finger closest to the index. . .) Typing isn't much fun for him either.

I'm a gamer.. I kinda, uh, use all my fingers. Well, give him a ridiculous grin for/from me. And sympathies for his finger, if it makes any sense whatsoever, though if it was a ways in the past, it probably doesn't so, probably not.
