Rain, I actually LIKE Little House On The Prairie, so please don't. Just don't.

I've read a lot of those books mentioned...Hank the Cowdog, Redwall (DUH!) Narnia, Little House On The Prairie, LotR......Blue, I'll take some more candied ginger, lease. Oh, thanks for the tea, Head. *Takes mug and sips*

BlueRose

*gives another bag of candied ginger to Cornflower* Here you go!
Was anyone else on the old DAB forum, circa 2009? I was recently reminded of it, lol.

I mean no offense to people who enjoy the series, I'm just stating that I was rather bored with it.  It was well written, from what I can remember, I just wasn't overly interested with the story, as it wasn't fantasy and had nothing to do with violence and wars and such.  :P

I do have a funny story about that series, though.  Several years ago, my family and I lived in a hotel in South Carolina for a few months.  This was around the time when my mom was reading Little House on the Prairie.  I believe we were as far as Laura at that point, and my mom would read it to us at the pool.  So, there was a teenaged guy that was at the hotel for a few weeks, and me and my siblings would hang out with him, 'cause we desperately wanted to make friends (we lived in a stinkin' hotel!  It was pretty hard to make friends.).  This guy happened to be walking by the pool when my mom was reading to us, and he ran up, flopped down on the ground, and went, "OOH!  STORY TIME!"  He stayed outside, listening to my mom read, and I thought that was awesome.  I mean, 17-year-old guy listening to a story with kids (I think I was 9 or something at the time, so there was a bit of an age gap).

Anyway, sorry for the story, Rosy, but I finally got Alexei to start hunting.  I just came in to start repaying the debt.  *Hands Rose a partially burnt goose*  Uh, he's still working on not roasting the animals when he catches them.  Luckily Rose (no, not you, my frost dragon.  There's a long story behind her name, but if you wish to believe that I named her after you, I'm fine with that.  ;)) put the fire out, though.

*takes the goose* Thanks Rain. *tosses goose into one of the many random chests that fill the shop, and a faint sound of roaring and tearing is heard coming from it's depths before it is closed.*

*Ahem*  Uh...  Oh, yeah, can I get an enchanting table?  Maybe some greater soul gems, too?

*ghost fires pull a large enchanting table out of an adjoining room, as well as greater soul gems.* Here. 5 crystal.

*Hands crystals*  Thanks!  *Starts enchanting*  Oh, by the way, could you make three dragon saddles to fit the measurements of my dragons?  They're getting to riding size already (they grow so fast!  :'().

Sure, I'll make growing type saddles. In fact, I have a set of them... *sends ghost fires to fetch three growing type dragon saddles*

What type of dragons? I would expect you to have trouble training them, as draons are born with the natural awareness they are superior creatures...  :P

I have a frost dragon (White Rose, but I call her Rose), a fire dragon (Alexei), and a plateau dragon (Apollo).  They're nice enough and they listen to me, but Alex has a problem with setting my hair on fire and I've gotten frostbite a few times because of Rosie.  Apollo is polite, though.  Probably because he can't reach my face.  (Plateau dragons have rather short necks and can't fly like other dragons, as you probably know.  They can only glide.  But they're very fast.)

Ooh, thanks, Blue!  Whaddaya want for 'em?

Well, you might want to use a detect alignment spell, just in case one of your dragons is actually evil and is plotting to kill you... Especially that polite little plateau dragon.

Trust me. I have experience with these things...  :P

Mmm, I would, except me and my dragons have this awesome mind connection.  I know what they're thinking at all times.  It's kind of annoying at night, though, 'cause they like to talk amongst themselves when I'm trying to sleep.  They always talk about fish, for some reason...  Maybe it's because Rosie won't eat any meat except fish?

And just in what way does this mind connection work? In my experience, it generally works both ways, meaning you can influence them but they can also influence you...

I am just feeling suspicious today... ;D

I dunno.  I just got these dragons yesterday.  I think they had some spell placed on them to make them grow faster, 'cause they're really big now...

Spells? Now I'm really suspicious. Dragons should grow noticeably over the course of a week, not a day!

Maybe fish is a code word for something?
