Arya grinned and accepted the pasty, and started to nibble. She,. too, was thinking over the past few days. They had been fun days, with lots pof laughter, and jokes. And lots of eating.

"Bella sure keeps us well fed, doesn't she?" Garth speculated. "Of course, she does eat a lot herself. I've never seen a beast put so much away for being her age." The squirrel finished his meal, and rested his head on his paws, his elbows on the table. He looked at Arya.

"Yes, she does." Arya replied, smiling yet again.

Garth took care of his plate, as he was done, and offered to take care of Arya's.

"Thanks, Garth." Arya said warmly as she handed the other squirrel her plate.

OOC: What shall we do now?

OOC: I dunno...Get your booty on, and we'll talk.

Garth helped wash the dishes, handing them to Bella for drying. "Um, Misses Bella?"
"Yes?"
"You've been very kind to us, and I thank you for helping us so much; but. . . I feel like we should, well. . ."
"Get moving along?" The mouse had a twinkle in her eye.
"Yes, actually." The squirrel was surprised. "How did you- ?"
"Hush; you young creatures are always on the move, always having something to keep you travelling. I figured you would tell me today, seeing as you're both healing quite nicely, so I already packed you some haversacks with a couple of cloaks for the weather." She dried her paws, smiling cheerily.
Garth looked toward the door; two bulging sacks of food and supplies sat under a matching pair of dark green cloaks. The mousewife was terrible! She guessed exactly what went on in their minds. The squirrel raised his eyebrows as he looked at Arya.

Arya smiled - The old mousewife was incredible! "Yes, today looks to be a good day to set off again." The squirrelmaid said cheerfully.

"I also made sure you had walking sticks for you to rest on."
Garth sat down next to Arya. "We'll only leave if you want to, Arya."

[Cornflower MM]

"Thank you,. Bella." Arya replied, then looked at Garth. "If I stay here another day, I'm going to go crazy. I need a change of scenery, Garth."

[The Skarzs]

"So do I!" Garth laughed. "No offense, though, Bella. Will you be okay without us?"
"I've been taking care of myself for seasons; I'll be fine! You two just worry about yourselves. "

"Alright, Bella." Arya laughed, then took hold of the chair arms and stood up, rather shakily.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Garth asked, concerned for Arya.
"She'll be fine! You're a worse worrier than an old toadwife!" Bella punched him lightly on the shoulder.
"All the same. . ." Garth helped Arya anyway.

Arya rolled her eyes, but allowed herself to be helped....Although when Garth got to the door, she picked up a stick, then slugged the male squirrel with her other paw. "She's right, you know. I'll be fine."
