"Well, it's going to." Garth saw no sense in saying otherwise; they both knew it would. "Don't worry, you're safe. We're in some hermit named Lumian's hut; he's the one who fixed up the wound."

[Cornflower MM]

"No duh." Arya said sarcastically.

Garth sat silent. "Do you want to rest? I can leave. . ." he rose to exit.

[Cornflower MM]

"No! I mean, no. Please stay." Arya said, blushing.

[The Skarzs]

Garth sat back down. "Do you. . . want to talk?" he asked slowly.

[Cornflower MM]

"About. . . .?" Arya asked, wary.

[The Skarzs]

"Actually, I hadn't thought that far," Garth admitted. "Well, Old Lumian wanted to know who taught you to deal with wounds, because he was impressed with how well you bandaged my shoulder." He rubbed his shoulder. "Thank you, by the way."

[Cornflower MM]

"Oh, you're welcome. It really wasn't my best work at all. And, my mother taught me.. Along with my aunt." Arya replied, rubbing her leg wound lightly.

[The Skarzs]

"We'll tell him when he comes back in. Right now he's taking care of some. . . unpleasant stuff." Garth felt this would turn a bit awkward, so he changed the subject. "I've never asked you before, but. . . what's your favorite food?"

[Cornflower MM]

Arya got a surprised look on her face. "My favorite food? That's. . . Random. But, raspberry pancakes."

[The Skarzs]

"Sounds tasty," Garth agreed. "Yes, it was random; don't ask. I'm actually as surprised as you are that I asked it." He grinned crookedly. "My favorite food is probably onion and garlic pasties."

[Cornflower MM]

"Oh, really?" Arya said, one eyebrow raising. Then she laughed. "Onion and garlic pasties?! That's interesting." She didn't add that, in fact, she hated garlic and onion pasties.

[The Skarzs]

Garth shrugged. "It helps keep mosquitos away, too. And vampires." He put two claws to his mouth, making two fake fangs.

Arya laughed again, surprising herself. I don't know about mosquitos or vampires, but it also keeps away the vermin." She joked.

Garth widened his eyes and breathed out dramatically. "Hooaaahh! Come and meet me, Garthhick Deathbreath! Hooaaahh!"
