Arya ndded, and turned to set off northwest.

Garth followed, pressing the dock leaf to his face; hopefully they would be able to make it to Noonvale, but he didn't express his fears to Arya. They would be safer there, at least for a while, and Arya could get someone to take a look at her wounds.

[Cornflower MM]

Arya stopped to wait for Garth to catch up. "So, where are we going exactly?" She asked, since Garth seemed to have a destination in mind.

[The Skarzs]

"Noonvale," answered Garth. "Once we reach the river, I'll get a better idea where we'll need to head." He continued on in silence, then spoke again. "I'm sorry you had to see the fight."

[Cornflower MM]

"Why?" She asked simply, in response to Garth's latter comment. "I was. . . . Glad, in a way, to see Bren getting payback."

[The Skarzs]

"It's more of how brutal I was. . ." mumbled Garth.

[Cornflower MM]

Arya laughed softly, but it wasn't a good laugh. "Oh, Garth, if you knew. . . . " She said, trailing off.

[The Skarzs]

Garth just waved his paw. "Don't tell me; I can guess." They continued marching until they reached the river; it wasn't the largest river, and would be easily forded.

[Cornflower MM]

"After you, Garth." Arya said, looking around. Seeing no beast in sight, she put her hood back,smiling at the fresher air dancing across her face.

[The Skarzs]

Garth looked upstream, seeing a willow tree that he recognized. "Over there; it'll be easier for you to cross in that shallower area because of your leg."
He watched Arya take off her hood, smiling when she did; it was good to see her happy.

[Cornflower MM]

"Alright." The squirrel agreed, going over and wading in.

"Hey, if you wanted, you could sit on my shoulders," Garth offered.

[Cornflower MM]

"You sure? I'm a little wet. . . " Arya said, surprised at the offer.

Garth shrugged. "I'd get wet anyway."
