Great redback song, Tiria.

"It was twenty years ago today, Sgt Pepper told the band to play, they've been going in and out of style, but they're garrented to raise a smile. So may I introduce to you, The act you've known for all these years, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!" -Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles.

Here's a song written by a friend of Ken Ham:

"BILLIONS OF DEAD THINGS,
BURIED IN ROCK LAYERS,
LAID DOWN BY THE WATER,
ALL OVER THE EARTH!!!!!"

Evidence for the Flood.  ;D

Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A Great High Priest whose name is Love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is written on His hands
My name is hidden in His heart
I know that while in Heaven He stands
No power can force me to depart

When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end of all my sin
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the Just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me

Behold Him there the Risen Lamb
My perfect spotless Righteousness
The Great Unchangeable I AM
The King of Glory and of Grace
One with my Lord I cannot die
My soul is purchased with His blood
My life is safe with Christ on High
With Christ my Saviour and my God
You are my Saviour and my God!

I love that song! Before someone gets on me for singing the wrong lyrics, the worship leader at the last church we went to apparently changed the lyrics and I prefer his changes to the originals!
Living in peace, aye many a season,
Calm in life and sound in reason,,
'Til evil arrives, a wicked horde,
Driving a warrior to pick up his sword,
The challenger rings then, straight and fair,
Justice is with us, beware. Beware!

Twinkle, twinkle, Barney's fat!
Hit him with a baseball bat!......

Sorry all you Barney the Dinosaur fans.
..."Where courage hides within the shawdows, patience within the storms, friendship in around every corner, and inspiration just outside your window."

Nightfire

I don't mind.  ;D I EXTREMELY dislike Barney. He teaches the kids about evolution.

"SING OUT!!! REJOICE!!!
LET ALL WHO HAVE A VOICE
CALL OUT SO SWEET AND HAPPILY!!!!"

A B C D E F G,
Barney is my enemy!....
..."Where courage hides within the shawdows, patience within the storms, friendship in around every corner, and inspiration just outside your window."

Nightfire

Okay, so I'm apologizing in advance for this song, to all of you Barney-fans. My older brother made it up one time, and it just stuck:

"I HATE YOU, YOU HATE ME,
LET'S TIE BARNEY TO A TREE..."

The rest of the song is kind of violent towards Barney, so I won't go there...again, sorry. Just had to get that out. On a more lighter note:

"GOOD MORNING! GOOD MORNING!
GOOD MORNING! GOOD MORNING!"

Even though it's late afternoon...

Dark as the night,
Swift as the mist,
Ready to fight.
Somebeast will cry, 'Hist!'
The Dark one is here.
So vermin, beware!
From the Northlands she will come,
Oppose her if you dare.
From a battle to a feast,
Adaptable beyond belief.
Burning vermin on a pyre,
Shaking foebeast to the core.
The Squirrelqueen Nightfire!

I made up that song in honour of Nightfire. Ambriya might sing it at some point in the RP.

Nice. I'm writing that down in my Redwall Songs catagory. :) Thanks, Tiria. Can't believe you actually wrote a song for me. I'll write one for you sometime. Here is my tribute to Ranguvar Foeseeker. Sorry about the lack of rhyming:

"Once, in the distant mists of time,
There was a warrior, whose ancestry is mine.
She was black as the dark night,
Crazy as a march hare,
And yet she was greatly loved by all.

She left out cold northland,
One day to seek out danger,
And we all were sorry to see her go,
But this I tell you true,
The Foeseeker was bound to live her name!

She was greatly and tirelessly driven,
To seek out the cruel evil vermin,
And she swore that she would ne'er rest.
So she left the deep snow drifts,
And headed south in a ship, never to be seen by us again.

We all went on in our lives,
Until one day came the news,
That the Foeseeker had died
Leaving no trace or clue,
And we mourned greatly that day.

But no one was stricken harder,
Than me, I tell you this,
For the Foeseeker was my great aunt, tis true.
So if you one day visit us, than you may see,
Some squirrels shouting out the name.

Ranguvar the Foeseeker! Yayalahoooooo!!!"

"Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence..." ~ "Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel.

I like songs with almost poetical lyrics, deep, thoughtful, but still lovely to listen to. This song is a perfect example of this.
Received mostly negative reviews.

I won't be on this forum much anymore, but I'll pop in to say hi every now and then.

Okay, Tiria! Here's my tribute to you!  ;D

Tiria Wildlough Tribute

"Graceful as the breeze,
Agile as the water,
Causing foebeasts to freeze.
With typical bravery of an otter.
Never shrinking from her task,
None who are evil shall ever last,
Wielding a sturdy javelin
And holding a sharkskin sling,
Her strong paws bring death to vermin,
Behind her in her wake is goodness she brings.
Leaving otherbeasts wondering "How?"

You take your foot
Your little foot!
And oh, your foot!
See how it starts to shake
Oh, Voldy's back!
For the attack!
He's take over the world it's true, but first there's something he's gotta do!
He'll dance again!!
He's been waiting all this time to dance again
And now at once a chance appears
Everybody make way!
For a pod-a-bere!
It's time to dance!
It's time to dance!
It's time to da-a-ance!
Again!!!!

I love those guys, that's my favourite song by them. Another favourite is Bridge Over Troubled Water:
"When you're weary
Feeling small
When tears are in your eyes
I will dry them all..."

My Dad's a fan, so I grew up listening to their music.

DanielofRedwall

My favourite is Homeward Bound.

"Hooooomeward bouuuund, I wish I was, hoooomeward booooouuund! Home, where my thought's escaping, home, where my music's playing, where my love lies waiting silently for me...."

I love them!
