Not all turtles are endangered. Some are quite plentiful and can be found in rivers and ponds.

Just because you think it's not okay doesn't mean it's not okay. The turtles used for turtle soup are not sea turtles or Galapagos tortoises, and it is no more wrong than eating snake, frog, dog, or cat. (Western culture abhors the thought of eating dog or cat, I know, but it is done in the East quite a bit.) While you may not like the idea, that doesn't mean it's wrong.

I would say that looks good, but it really kind of doesn't. Turtle sounds good, but turtle soup looks gross
