I just started reading Gulliver's Travels, by Jonathan Swift. I read during break times at work. That is my time to travel anywhere my dreams want to take me. I try to vary the titles as much as possible by getting books at a thrift store. It helps the needy and saves money too. Remember, in our imaginations we can go anywhere, do anything and be anyone.

I have to stop reading Taggerung to read a book for religion. It's called The Bronze Bow. It's okay, I guess.

I'm still on Dune, haven't had much of a chance to read lately. I'm really enjoying it.

White Fang by Jack London (author of The Call of the Wild) and Guardians of Ga'Hoole: The Outcast by Kathryn Lasky.
Received mostly negative reviews.

Log-a-Log

I'm reading The Old Man and the Sea. I like it a lot, especially the fishing parts

I finish the Bronze Bow. Took me two days, but I'm done. I like it okay, but the ending could have been better. Like a prologue or something telling stuff like:
Did he marry Thacia?
What happened to Leah?
Where is Joel?
What about Rosh?
Did they beat the Romans?

And now I can finish Taggerung.

I didn't like the ending of Taggerung very much. :(
Right now I'm reading The Eagle of the Ninth. It's good, but I haven't been able to read much of it lately.

Well, I know what happens already, and I'm not going to almost cry like I did when I first read it.

I recently read the first book in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, it was okay. I'll get the next one out if we ever get to the library.

Were you very sad?
Well, when I first read it I was a little crushed. But I'm okay now. I don't get sad over  books too much.

I've started reading Howl's Moving Castle, by Dianna Wynne Jones (I hope I spelled that right!). I really liked the movie; I hope the book's good!

I just finished Wildwood dancing a little too Mushy for me and that is saying a lot!
Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need
Chasing relentlessly and I don't know why
If our love's tragedy why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity why are you my clarity?
Why are you my clarity?

The book is great! The movie is very different, they took a lot of creative licence when they made it. Don't let that put you off, though, the book is very, very good.
