Just all of it. And no I can't really explain why, but it was more to see what kind of reaction it would cause.
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

Unless you have seen every single anime ever made, that statement is a lie

I never said that it was completely true, I just said that I don't really care for anime. As I said before I was seeing what kind of reaction it would produce.

Honestly, kids born in the 2000s, what is your childhood like?
For me, at least, there is very little anime in it... Though I have watched and enjoyed (much of, haven't seen it all) a show based around a book series I really liked. (Deltora Quest, if you're curious.)

Other than that, there is less D&D than there should be, and too many first person shooters. Not enough RTS games, not that I'm any good at them, but they are cool. Yes.

Nothing overly remarkable, why? I don't watch TV, hence, I've never really watched anime. Unless Ponyo counts? (I love that movie! Haven't seen it in ages, though.)

The Mask

Ponyo... Kinda. It's not exactly anime cos it's Miyazaki (Who is absolutely amazing by the way). Miyazaki is more like Japanese movies with anime style pictures. Which kinda makes it an anime.

@I'm totally born in the 2000 but I had a discussion with Blue FOR TWO PAGES about anime. So yeah, not all of the 2000s don't like anime.
I am a squirrel, an otter, a mouse, a fox, a stoat, a ferret, a weasel, a wildcat, a hare, a hedgehog, a badger; I am the master of disguises, The Mask.

Miyazaki is amazing. Not really anime, but amazing. (Anyone here seen Spirited Away?)

It's ok if y'all don't like anime, I mean, it's sad, because you're missing out, but that's just the way you are and I'm not gonna contest that. You guys can dislike anime as long as you don't hate on me for liking it.
Was anyone else on the old DAB forum, circa 2009? I was recently reminded of it, lol.

Bitterly jittery, and not very glittery.

I just don't watch much cartoons... Never watched TV much and now that I have Netflix I don't really watch cartoons. I find that they are a tad to simple... I like a movie/Show to surprise me as to its ending. I like to try as figure out the end be for it happens (I am pretty good at it two) If it can blow my mind then it is a really good movie. I like detailed plot and character development in the things I watch. And a good moral goal that can at least some what justified the wrong the character is doing. (Hate the shows that have characters do stupid wrong things for no good reason and then get away with it. Disney chanel!) I am not saying that anime dose not have these things Just saying that I have very high standers.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

If you watch either of the animes I'm watching, those standards will be met

It IS overly remarkable. When my mother was growing up, she had to go to a library to find out any information, and if they didn't have it, she was out of luck. Not long before I was born, computers were massive and only had information based on their mainframe. Now I can find out anything no matter where I am within seconds, and even with my little outdated and dying iPhone 3, I STILL have more computing power than was in mainframe computers IN MY POCKET. If I'm not mistaken, modern smartphones (though not necessarily mine, it is outdated and dying as I mentioned) carry more computing power than was used to send the first people to the moon.

Soooo... Basically, you like Star Trek...

Complex: Check.
Surprising: Check.
Mind blowing: Often check.
Detailed plot: Check.
Character development: Check.
Good moral goals: Check... ov?

One of many yes. Though I was able to guess a good few plot twists in it I found that another good percentage of the time I was surprised. I don't want to be completely left in the dark but I don't want it to be to obvious ether.

I agree! And we don't have cable/satellite/antenna or anything like that and we only have Netflix, and I am completely happy with that.

I've seen all his movies except the Wind Rises! In fact, at Japanese Club at school we're watching the Cat Returns.
