Classical is my favorite. Dragonlance, and my saga of choice, Forgotten Realms, are really great examples. It laid the foundation for fantasy as we know it- excepting figures like Tolkien, of course.

I like Forgotten Realms. It's a good campaign setting.

Wait, is it something other than a campaign setting? That'd be cool. 'Saga' implies more than setting.

Yeah... There's like, what, hundreds of books published by a variety of authors that fall into the saga.

You mean you've never read the actual books?
"'Tis the business of small minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."
-Thomas Paine

"Integrity and firmness is all I can promise; these, be the voyage long or short, shall never forsake me although I may be deserted by all men."
-George Washington

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.
