I think that it is rather ignorant to assume that in all the whole incomprehensible vastness of space, we are the only planet that sustains intelligent life. Sure, maybe we're the only one with carbon-based life forms, or maybe the only ones with humanoids on it. Maybe the only one with a written language. But the only one with intelligent life at all? That thought truly scares me. Because if that's so, then we are one lonely speck of dust in a heck of a deserted universe.

No, I don't think that all the abduction stories are true; but some of them might be. We can't really know unless we experience it ourselves, can we?

But wouldn't it be creepy if there were alien races? I'm saying this because what if humans and them started intermarrying!

Yes...but it would still be creepy...

Um. . . unlikely, but possible. I say possible because there is a small amount of forms an intelligent life can take, and DNA testings would probably occur by both humans and the aliens. If it just so happens that they are. . . compatible, then I'm pretty sure it could happen.
This is all in theory and not really something to be quoted on.

   Not if they were as close to humanoid as most races are in Star Trek. And if they weren't, we couldn't have interspecies children. Humans and alien life forms might still fall in love... And then some people would be even more xenophobic about that then they were about aliens to begin with...

  Honestly, if we meet aliens at this current point of cultural development, I don't know that humans would be able to overcome our natural xenophobia... We'd probably end up with an interplanetary/stellar/galactic war... Not that traveling stars or galaxies is something that we could do on our own any time soon, but hey, reverse engineering.

 I don't believe it's possible to actually go faster than the speed of light. Some claim that it is.. But I just don't think so.

I don't know, but they did...
