I just realized that I've been here a whole year as of today! Wow. It went by fast. Anyone in the mood for a party? *Starts setting everything up* *Puts on special music* YAAAY! PARTAY!

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.
