YOU feel lazy? I'm choosing my own classes to take! And I'm not going to need college or SAT because of the trade I'm going into. :P

Ah, I think we are making a big deal out of nothing. I don't have to do anything but study for the SAT this week and really I wish I could be doing anything else.   :P
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Well that English exam was the most detestable, damnable experience of my entire life thus far, pity it was only a mock, that means I still have to do the real one at a later date

What trade? A smithy?

Pfft. Manual labor. No good pay, no intellectual stimulation... What a drag!  ;D

Actually, I love manual labor like woodworking, construction, etc... I just wouldn't choose it as a career. I'm truly an engineer at heart. Which means lots of pointless easy math busywork for now...  :P

I'm going for animation. I've always loved toying with different ideas in my head, and imagination is my favorite thing to play with.

Yes, pity.

Welder, for the most part.

One job opening for welding makes $65 and hour; read that and weep.
I suppose I could rant about it here, because it does have a little to do with my schoolwork: I spent yesterday, today, and two days ago at a job with my dad who is making a garage into a living space. 9 hours per day. I have fiberglass in my eyes, in my lungs, digging into my face skin, and generally making living unpleasant. (Yes, I'm getting paid a good amount for this labor, but I don't want to be on that job again. . .) At the same time, I'm getting behind in my schoolwork, and I can't work on art requests or writing because I'm getting home at 8 PM so I can eat dinner, shower, and collapse into bed. I'm going to look forward to homework tomorrow.

Ah, that was a good rant. *Is satisfied.*

I live next to a welding shop. It's noisy, but kind of enjoyable.

Where are you getting that pay Grade? Los Angeles? I looked up the average salary of a welder, it's between 26 and 61 thousand a year. If you worked 40 hour weeks, which is typical, 65 an hour would give you 135,200 a year.... Bit of a difference there!

After six years of working there that's what the pay was.

I still find making twice the highest amount suggested in average salaries to be a bit suspect... Okay, I find it a lot suspect. Also, six years is a long time to work for one company. I don't even know if my dad has worked for anyone that long, and he's been at it for a really long time.
