I am the obsessed with random and sometimes pointless trivia. Such as: Did you know that the very first jet design for a plane was by Henri Coanda, in Romania, in 1910? It produced 50 hp. But unfortunately it never flew.

. . . And in WWII a German scientist made a design for a jet engine, which was used for some Luftwaffe airplanes due to support from the leaders. At the same time, in America, a scientist designed a jet engine, trying to get it approved for government support, but it was turned down, the propeller-powered airplanes seeming useful enough.
After the war, the two scientists meet up and compare their designs. They were exactly the same.
