I finished watching Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso (Your Lie in April) recently. That tore my heart up.

Yeah, him.
That's awesome! I'm pretty crazy about Death Note.

She also met the voice actor who voices Tamaki, she said that he signed her jacket.
That must be Tamaki from OHSHC? He's the most popular Tamaki in anime.

That's on my to-watch list. All I hear about it is that it makes everyone cry.

What?! The self-proclaimed anime non-fan is posting here?!
Yeah, yeah, whatever.

If anyone likes fantasy stuff, Grimgarr of Fantasy and Ash is a pretty good anime. The animation is pretty smooth, the cinematics are beautiful, and the characters are interesting. I definitely recommend watching the dubbed version, though. You really get a better feel for the characters when you're not reading inaccurate sketchy translations.
There's blood and fighting, though, so anyone who doesn't like that shouldn't watch it. Other than that, it's pretty clean. No swearing, minimal physical. . . exhibition, and no dirty jokes.
It dabbles very much with the importance of a good team, using one's own specific skills and strengths to help each other, and dealing with loss and frustration.

Read Redwall. Then, post in the general boards.

What? I've read Redwall twice, for your information.

I've played some of the piano songs mentioned. I really liked it - it was just devastatingly sad.

could you record yourself and share it? I'd love to hear it.

I went to an anime convention over the weekend and had an amazing time! Friday, I cosplayed as Armin from Attack on Titan. I went by myself, and while wandering, heard people yelling my character's name. I met up with an Eren and their two friends, and shorty after we met a Levi. The five of us decided to hang out together in uniform and we had fun throughout the evening. Saturday, I went with my brother. He felt a little out of place not in cosplay, while I was Mello from Death Note. We played a Death Note version of Mafia with a large group of other people, around nineteen of us, for several hours, as well as playing/viewing several other games. We didn't go back Sunday, opting to spend the day with our parents, but the con was great.

Seinfeld is my favourite anime.

I need to finish watching Berserk and Kuroshitsuji.

Yes. Yes you do. And I need to watch Berserk. Did you hear about the Berserk series coming this summer?

For anyone interested, here's an article with info, previews, and hype for 10 anime sequels coming out this summer.

HOLY [rat] A BERSERK SEQUEL WOULD BE AWESOME!

I do hope they don't use a modern anime art style, though. One great thing about Berserk is it's art style.

EDIT: Not too sure about the 3D. It works really well if they execute it properly, but if they don't it's immersion breaking and weird.

I went to another con this weekend, Anime Midwest in Chicago, and had one of the best weekends ever. Friday I cosplayed Eto from Tokyo Ghoul, and I used the costume again for a TG photoshoot Saturday morning. When the official photos are posted, I'd love to share them. Saturday I cosplayed Doll from Black Butler, and all of the time and work I put into it paid off. Most of the fun of the weekend was in posing for photos and asking others for permission to take photos of their cosplays. On top of that were all of the activities and food and shows and swag from the artists' alley... it was a great con.
