That's incredible!! Sounds like you had a ton of fun!
I would love to go to more cons, but me and my friends are having trouble finding ones near us.

Do you ever use this site? Click on the state to see cons happening there. I've found the information helpful and reliable. But I do realize that commuting or taking public transportation can raise its own concerns. You mentioned not living too far from Detroit, I believe? There's a moderately large one in Detroit the first weekend of November.

Aimless Gallivanter

I live quite a ways from Detroit actually. Thanks though!

could you record yourself and share it? I'd love to hear it.

Just saw this now. XD

I've never played the actual score of the anime, just some of the songs the characters did (Clair de Lune is the only one I can remember at the moment).

Probably some of my top animes that I love are:
D. Gray Man (plus the manga is awesome)
FMA: Brotherhood
Bleach (To a certain point, it got very repetitive after rescuing Rukia and things settling down)
Soul Eater
Trigun (I like the manga more than the anime)
I love anything Studio Ghibli

I have watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica, all of RWBY up to this point, Ouran High School Host Club, and all of Sword Art Online up to this point. They all hold a special place in my heart. They have actually taught me a lot of things, in fact.

What each anime has taught me (No spoilers!):

PMMM:

-Your true friends are those that fight for you
-What people show you is not always what is true
-You are more powerful than you realize
-Never make deals that you do not know the consequences to
-People have good reasons for not telling you things

RWBY:
-Don't judge a book by its cover
-Teamwork is stronger than working alone
-It is better to tell people about your problems than to hide them within yourself
-We all have our own power

OHSHC:
-The happiest people can be the most broken
-You do not know why people do what they do unless you ask
-Everyone has that thing they have that makes them special
-Enjoy life and relationships while they last
-Be true to your heart

SAO:
-There are real people behind the screen, and what you say or do really effects real people
-What you do online may even be more important than what you do in real life, for how you act online can shape your character
-Online friendships can become real life friendships
-You see people how they truly wish to be online - how they really wish to express themselves

Update!

RWBY:
-Don't trust someone just because they're friendly.
-Real warriors sacrifice themselves
-Unless stopped, evil will never stop growing

Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra:
-Never give up
-You find yourself on the inside
-Enemies can turn into friends, and friends can turn into enemies
-Power and fame can be crutches
-There are no good or bad nations
-There are wonderful and terrible people in each nation
-People can be convinced that what they're doing is right, when it is not

Your Lie in April:
-Music isn't just music - it is the extension of someone
-Always say what you feel
-The most bitter or angry people may care very deeply about you
-Never forget those you've lost, but don't let your missing of them or your guilt hold you back

SAO II:
-Killing in self-defense is not murder
-Sometimes you have to fake confidence until you truly are confident
-If something is wrong, tell someone, because one day it will be too late
-Have a dream, however small, and chase it

I recently watched SAO II and the most recent episodes or RWBY. I have watched a few episodes of Hetalia: Axis Powers and Fruits Basket, but I'm still getting into those.

Jetthebinturong

Well don't expect to find some deep meaning in Hetalia, it''s just lighthearted fun.
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Don't worry, I never have. ;)

Ashleg

Hetalia is great.  ;D

The D. Gray-man sequel/remake/13 new episodes premiered on July 5. There's some more info on it and the trailer in the link I shared a few posts back:

For anyone interested, here's an article with info, previews, and hype for 10 anime sequels coming out this summer.

Thank you I will definitely check it out :D

Edit: I watched it and it looks amazing but the only qualm I have with it is that the akuma seem to have blood but they are machines, in the original story they won't bleed. So all the excessive blood isn't canon to the story.

The original Fullmetal Alchemist was great.
