Youll need to specify. Are you talking about the original anime, the Fullmetal Alchemist anime that released first? Or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which came later but was based off of the original manga?

Updates:
Mirai Nikki/Future Diary: For all the hype I got for it, I didn't like this show. I had trouble watching it all the way through. The last couple of episodes got me, though, and the fact that I haven't been able to get it off my mind since finishing it means the story creator did something right.

Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End: I really like this story. It had a pretty good storyline even before introducing the "seraph of the end," but maybe I just think that because they didn't allow themselves the time in the anime to fully explain the concept behind the title. I'm going to read the manga to get more of the story, because the anime left off where there's clearly more about to happen. I like that in this story, humans are, by default, the 'good guys,' but some humans are worse than the villains in their greed. It's got a lot of interesting characters; unfortunately, I don't like any of the female characters.

Noblesse: A Korean manhwa, it can be found on manga websites. It combines a lot of supernatural creatures and elements, but it doesn't fall under "it's been done before." I'm reading it pretty quickly. It's good.
