 I doubt that the goodbeasts would be comfortable allying with a fox, but perhaps you could be the "roving adventurer" type, not allying with any one faction.

Weaknesses: running far distances (Due to lack of health and for being a slave for so long), swimming
Personal history: Was taken a slave since he was a small child. Since his fur coat is a rich blue, he was always laughed at. When working on day, they slavers cut of his tail. This gave him a rage beyond no other. When he escaped and joined a slave village, he worked on his physical shape, and is improving. He longs for the chance to fight back with the evil slavers taking them down once and for all.

Species(The faction you join is heavily influenced by the species you choose, but if you want to be a wolverine or a large beast, you have to be small for that species): Wolf

Weapons( You can have a stormpowder weapon like a grenade, but no guns, not yet at least, and also if you're a part of the slave rebel faction, you only have access to basic weaponry): a long sword she calls "Ice" with a well polished blade (So much so that you can see your reflection in it) and a black leather bound hilt and sapphire pronominal stone. A matching dagger called "Fire" this one has a ruby pronominal stone. 

Likes: Good food and drink, a man with a good mind and a clear head,

Dislikes: Disrespect, people who treat her and an inferior because she is a girl.

Faction(There are five you can choose from, The Wolfpack, The Jarldom, The Northlands Alliance, The Slave Rebels and The Icetor Kingdom): Wolf pack

Strengths: Her tactical mind plus her ambitions make for a powerful weapon.

Weaknesses: She is a pleasure seeker (She likes good food and drink, fine cloths and comforts), She is susceptible to bribes.

Personal history: She was the wife of one of the most important Vassals in the land, his name was Ignis. He ownd a large estat and was well favored by the Jarldom till one day he died quite suddenly of a tragic illness (Some say that Anima poisoned him, others say that he lost favor with the Jarldom and they had to have him removed) Anima took over the keeping of his lands and never remarried (She says it is out of loyalty to her late husband but others suspect it is so that she can keep the lands to herself) She was one of the first to hear about the death of the Oberjarl and one of the first to organize the uprising against the Jarldom.

The civil war of The Lands of Ice and Snow. ( And the general progression of stormpowder and events and things.) The goal of the story is basically, either one side conquers the frozen lands, or someone else does.
