Okay, maybe Kili isn't quite as cheerful as Fili (he's usually frowning seriously for some reason in promotional material), but he's young, fearless, reckless... I dunno how to explain, but I think he follows the book relatively okay.

*Bangs head on desk* Is this argument necessary? Not only are there a lot of spoilers (I haven't even gotten through the first movie for cryin' out loud!) but no one's opinions are wrong or right. They just are. Okay?
Also, Jukka's Brother: Great story!

Delthion

Actually, opinions can be wrong and right, but you are correct in this subject. I didn't realize we were arguing!

Anyway, I shall desist this line of conversation. ;D
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

That's Great! Better than the movies! ;)

Whaaat? I was enjoying it!

Also, you've gotta give PJ some sort of credit for turning a fairytaleish story that doesn't quite fit with the rest of the Middle-earth saga into a set of epic, serious movies. I do agree that it was a bit much to make a trilogy, though. Two is more reasonable.

Yes, the thing that I liked least out of the movies is how the men of Lake-Town were so greedy in the books, they were upright and generous in the books!

Fili and Kili were like twins, as I remember it they were constantly just repeating themselves and finishing each others questions! They were my favorite Dwarves in the books!
I finished reading The Hobbit recently, and I'm pretty sure they didn't constantly repeat themselves and finish each others questions.
Anyway, PJ did give the dwarves more of a personality in the movies, which I like.

How does that work?

Indeed. You are as ancient as the soot that choked Pompeii into oblivion, though not quite as uncaring. - Rusvul

Hehe, not books, book, I messed up! ;D ;D ;D ;D

No... he means that you should've said 'movies', then 'books'.

It's a KIDS book. Anyways, as far as fairytales go, its a good one. Besides, there are way to many orcs being shot in the head for my taste. Made me a little sick, honestly.

@Corny: I did start this topic, so if I don't mind having a little debate with Wylder and Del, I think it should be okay to have one...
