I really Scarlet Witch, and I like Vision, too. I'm not sure if Vision is supposed to be as human as he comes across in the two latest films, but I enjoy him more because of his apparent ability to sympathize. I like Wanda because she's so easy to understand - a young woman who sometimes hates and fears her own power because of how it makes others see and turn away from her, but who tries to make herself stronger through controlling it? She's great. I know Cap said, "She's just a kid," but she's a young adult who makes up her own mind without losing her heart, and I admire her for it.

Here's my complaint about Falcon: I really liked him in Winter Soldier, because he helped Cap in several ways. He began as a casual, affable guy, and appeared to be the first friend (outside of SHIELD's employees and affiliates) Cap makes in the 21st century, but his work at the VA clinic proved that he has a deeper history and can empathize with Cap's post-war feelings. He broke out the awesome with his line, "I never said 'pilot'" and his entrance as Falcon, and since then, friendship and similar experiences have caused him to have Cap's back. In Civil War, however, his role seems to be demoted to that of comic relief. Not that he wasn't a great asset in Civil War, and not that many of his lines weren't funny from the start, but every character is given their own brand of humour, and his never seemed to rest in the latest film. It's not a problem with the character, just a problem with the writing. But his humour isn't the only thing in the MCU being taken up to eleven lately.

I find it interesting that Captain America being a Hydra agent and thus a Nazi is being made a big deal because it's "anti-American." Tbh, the only reason I would have a problem with Cap being a Nazi is because he was invented by Jews to be their hero. I find it interesting that no one brought that up yet.

It's not that it's anti-American that does it for me, it's that it goes against what he's stood for and fought against for years. It doesn't matter what nationality he is or was, if he acted a certain way for so long, proved himself to be pure of heart, courageous, etc., it's completely out of character for him to suddenly change to a malicious faction.

@Skarzs and @Jet the binturong I agree with Skarzs, he's never been a "patriot" to me, but more of a noble hero. Regardless of whatever nationality he's supposed to be.
