"Don't you think I thought that threw already," Savil said reproachfully"We can't do much good out here anyway without our equipment. We can't beam up to the ship so even if they are not coming back we should find a place where we can regroup and find a way to get our things working again. We don't know how large this dampening filed is nor do we know what is causing it. We should set a base that is somewhat sheltered just in case we are stuck here on the long term, and then brake up into teems to see if we cant find the border of or the cause of this field," She said
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Seeing the away team Hastigeth rushed forward. "Well, since we can't lock on here I am having an exploration party beam down, about thirty individuals. Here is some food and water, more is on the way."

"Captain!" Savil said surprised to see him. It was not slandered procedure for the captain to beam down to the away teem himself. Especially in a dangerous situation like this. "You should be on the ship," She said taking the supplies. "I hope you are having a shuttle craft sent down." She added.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Søren

"Sir, I actually agree with her." Said Brushdale as he moved closer to Hastigeth. "This is the worst place to be. The people who were with Longeye could still be here."

Jenbean took off his comm and placed it in his shirt pocket. "Well, nothing electronic is much good down here. Wonder how cold the nights get?"

OOC: Right... sorry. I'll change that post.

"Of course it's not standard procedure." Said Hastigeth, grinning at Savill. "But it's been many years since I've actually been down on a planet besides our own! Anyway, I told you about the Exploration party! They'll be bringing several shuttle-crafts, but I am not going back this time." Then he looked up at the sky to try and catch a glimpse of a descending shuttle.

"You should not have both the captain and the first officer on any away mission at the same time," Savill said giving Hasigeth a look which clearly meant that she disapproved, and that this indecent was most likely going to end up in her report.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Delthion

Savill's look only caused Hastigeth to grin more broadly. He nodded knowingly, but shrugged it off. "If this mission fails we will not have need for anymore captains or first officers."

"But it is sure to fail if we loos both the captain and the first officer!" She said "That aside, there is no changing it so we should make the best of it. However I strongly advise one of you returning to the ship when the spacecrafts arrive,"
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Delthion

"The ship is being left with a skeleton crew. Just enough to deal with a few spacecraft and weakened larger ones. We need to do the damage here, or it is all lost."

"We don't even know what is going on here yet! Strike what? there is nothing to strike."
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Hastigeth smiled and shook his head. "Yes, the ship was under orders to call for reinforcements, but who knows how long that will be? We are the first functional ship with HSDD! First we need to figure out what's causing this jamming, and then remove it."

"And then sir, we need to find out if there are survivors from the Ark Ship. If we can get the dampening field down, we can use triquarders to track them." Suggested Brushdale, watching the heated Savil and the relaxed captain get in a bit of a cross.
