OOC: I saw that post, and was like, "Someone's Finally done something! then I was like, "darn."

BIC: Jenbean glanced up at Brushdale. "Sensible idea, Commander. Captain, where to?"

[Delthion]

"Well, where we go doesn't matter, we would have millions of square miles to cover, and if we found anything, most of us would be dead. Do you know of anything on the ship powerful enough to scan through a sophisticated dampening field?"

[Hickory]

The fox stroked his chin thoughtfully.
"Well, the 23-I00 could work, but it's experimental."

[Søren]

"We need act quickly sir." Brushdale said. "And I agree with Jenbean, that is our best shot."

[Delthion]

"Very good, get it. Try and clone it and make any adjustments as needed on the copy."

[Hickory]

OOC: Sorry for the name. I was posting it at night.
Also, I thought the comms were jammed, so can we actually tell them to beam down the thing?

[Delthion]

OOC: No, good point. But there's a weak spot nearby so you can simply get to that and contact the ship.

[Hickory]

OOC: Righty.

BIC: Jenbean dialed in a few coordinates on his 'pad. "There's a weak spot over there," he said, pointing north east. "Two clicks over there."

[Søren]

"We should leave, immediately." Said Brushdale. "We can't afford to waste time, the Arkship is still here."

[Hickory]

Jenbean closed his 'pad and holstered his pistol. "Of course, Commander. Let's go." and he turned North East and began steadily jogging toward the weak spot.

[Søren]

Brushdale motioned to the others in a come-on-already stance. He headed off following Jenbean to the spot where the small group could hail the Genesis.

[Hickory]

"Wait.... wait.... I'm getting some major ion readings to the west. At the kind of level you'd expect from an engine. It's not fully active but the levels are holding steady. It's safe for approach..." Jenbean looked at the officers. "Luckily the emissions are so high they penetrate the jammer dampening field. We can head over there, or contact the ship. Your call, sir."

[Delthion]

"Indeed. We should take what supplies and weapons we need and try to help the possible survivors." Said Hastigeth as he moved to alert the rest of the crew.

[Søren]

Brushdale helped gather the crew, and prepared to get underway. He had no idea what was ahead, but he trusted in Jenbean enough that he was confident he would alert them to any danger.
He thought to himself. Maybe not too confident...
