I'm weird, then. I pretend I have around thirty. Which is, if you want to count, the amount of active people on this very forum. Or it might be around forty by now. But yes, I view y'al as my friends, but unless you guys view me as your friend, unless I'm mistaken that would be pretending I have friends.

30-40 sounds to me to be about the perfect number of friends to have, to get to know each of them personally.  You don't even have to pretend.  I feel pretty real.
