I've been there before. Lesson learned, don't swim in it. No matter what they tell you... DON'T SWIM IN THAT LAKE!
Why not? The only reason I can think of is if you jumped in with bad road rash or something like that...

Door to Hell, Turkmenistan. This formed as the result of a Soviet drilling accident; they wanted to get rid of the natural gas leaking from the hole so they set it on fire thinking it would burn off in a few weeks. That was over 40 years ago and it's still going.

It's like the Bajoran Fire caves...

And does anyone know how to make the pictures bigger? They're so small.
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

Søren

I've been to GoG.
And it makes the size based of the picture resolution I think.

It's a little weird that not one of the pictures I've found are big, and all the pictures you guys post aren't small. Just saying...  :)

I went on Google and found the same images you used, but only the ones from GoG. Are you sure you clicked "Veiw Image" and copied that url?

Yes, I clicked View Image, then copied the url at the top of the page.

Trekkie  ::)
Hey, you did catch the reference.
More like a good guess confirmed by Google. And congratulations; you won a Basking Shark picture!

I really do need to watch more of DS9, then I'd know what you're talking about! ;D
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

Your not a true Trekkie until you've seen DS9.
@Eulalia Hmm. I'm not sure what the problem is then. :-\
