Eulaliaaa!

Yeah, we can do that. And thank you guys for joining, I didn't know if anyone would find this interesting...    :)
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

LT Sandpaw

Alrighty I'll join but could we make humans slightly smaller, say the same size as a otter, so bigger then most but not massive.

Name: Ridge Armstrong,

Age: Adult,

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Mutated: No

Appearance: Strong well built individual and short, he has dark brown hair and a Hispanic look.

Clothes/Armor: A dark green uniform of the Extermination Company with a Kevlar vest and helmet. With a matching green back pack full of equipment.

Weapons: A fully automatic M10 rifle and a light tranquilizer pistol, and a high powered cattle prod.

Strengths: A good planer and leader with a single minded determination to finish the mission.

Weaknesses: He does not have many however he suffers from a bad allergic reaction to many types of animals making him cautious of going to near many creatures.

Location: Human Survival craft close to the ruins of Redwall.

Backstory: After finding the Mossflower world a strange Disease wiped out most of humanity on earth. In a desperate attempt to survive refugees escaped to Mossflower only to find the land ruined and crawling with terrifying mutations. The few bases that had once held human research facilities were now abandoned and over run with horrifying creatures. Ridge was elected to lead a team in hunting down and eliminating leaving a safe haven for human repopulation.

Okay that's it, I hope you don't mind me adding a little human backstory to why they are there. I can change it if you want.

It's interesting, unique, and cool :) And Sandpaw, I like the idea of your character.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

Eulaliaaa!

I added your character to the list. And yes, we can make animals about the size of humans. I guess we can start now...

Lady Ashenwyte

Here's my character:

Name: Ashenlance.
Age: 50.
Species: Badger.
Mutated: No.
Appearance: He has one eye as the other eye was taken out by a human bullet. Otherwise a normal badger.
Clothes/armor: A red kimono from Nihon.
Weapons: Naginata and a huge katana.
Strengths: He is very strong, and his Bloodwrath is terrifying as blood sprays out of his mouth. He is quite intelligent.
Weaknesses: His Bloodwrath makes him a demon on the field, and he cannot tell from a friend or foe. He also wants to vanquish humans and does not consider the ethical side of things.
Location: Brockhall.
Backstory: He is from Nihon. After the unsuccessful invasion of Nihon by humans, the Shogun told him to go to Mossflower to find out. After days of travelling, he reached Brockhall and is investigating Redwall.

Of course, I added your character to the list.

Here is my idea for a character. I will concentrate on the space-side of thing

Name: Talia Kosova
Age: Adult
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: unknown, but appears about 35.
Mutated: Yes
Appearance: Above average height, slender, attractive features, but an has intimidating air about her. Blonde hair light skin.
Clothes: Typically wears a white jumpsuit, of the same design as those worn my many others of the crew of the ESS Refuge.
Weapons: None, she has basic training in the use of pistols and rifles, but it has been a long time since she needed to use one.

Strengths: She is a decisive leader, and she managed to pull together a crew and get the ship off-earth after the chaos of the outbreak when Earth's space travel infrastructure was colapsing.

Weaknesses: Suffers from constant anxiety,  fairly paranoid, mistrusts her deputies and is constantly spying on people. Additionally she can be prone to making rash decisions, especially when she feels threatened.

Backstory: Talia was the daughter of Ivan Kosova, the spacing tycoon responsible for the initial missions to the Mossflower planet. Things went well at first, and the discovery of alien life was a boon for his corporation. Talia worked in management, and showed considerble talent, however, her father favored her older brother to eventually be his sucessor. Her brother had traveled to the planet himself to inspect the opperation when contact was lost. A few years later a lone ghost ship returned on autopilot, bearing a dead crew and sparce. The company tried to cover up the disaster, and as a result, insufficuent precautions were taken and the disease got out.
The disease tore through the corprate facilities and out into the human population. Those who could afford it left the earth for the outer colonies, eventually contaminating them as well. In the confusion, many of the aliens who were being experimented on in company facilities got loose. Some of then managed to steal a ship and fly back to Mossflower.
As the outbreak wore on, her father fell ill and after undergoing the characteristically gruesome cancerous  mutations, be died leaving her in charge of the company.
Some of the surviving scientists believed that the disease was actually a key part of the Alien biology: It acted to facilitate rapid evoloution through causing mutations in key genes, such as those responsible for intelligence. Unfortunately, it was very deadly to humans due to its interactions to unique genes that goverened human intelligence, but it did not hurt animals at all. The researchers had observed lab mice tripple in size and intelligence in only two generations. Further validation came as the outbreak spread: there were increasing accounts of animals exibiting uncharacteristic levels of intelligence.
In an insulated lab, Talia's scientists were developed gene therapy to alter the human genes that reacted with the disease, therby confiring immunity to the recipient.
But the lab itself was breached and several scientists fell ill. Fearing they would be next, Talia and the remaining scientists used the not-yet-complete serum.
It sucessfully saved them, but caused them to undergo minor animal-like mutations. Talia had hers surgically corrected where possible, and hides the scars under her clothes. The serum was later finished and distributed to the remaining population, stopping the outbreak.
But the problems continued. Over 99.99% of the human population had died, and industry and government had completely collapsed. Fighting raged all over the globe. People tore apart grounded spaceships and factories in search of increasingly scarce resources. Making matters worse, people had to deal with an exploding animal population of increasingly shocking intelligence. (See "the birds" and "planet of the apes")
Amidst this backdrop, Talia rose as a leader. She used her last remaining resources from the company to restore order to a small part of the world. Her people were able to salvage a ship and find supplies.
With earth in chaos, and the outer colonies descimated, she decided to take her clan to the pristine world of Mossflower. There she would carve out a new human civilization on the backs of the aliens who had destroyed hers.
They had taken her life, her brother, her father, and left her permanently scarred. Now it was her turn to do the taking.
Loaded with colonization equipment, supplies and weapons the ship left earth and arrived at mossflower.

Additional: Inventory of relevant human supplies:
Landing shuttles: 8
Heavy lander: 2
Tanks: 1
Trucks: 4
Infantry weapons: Assault rifles, pistols, (limited) RPGs
Ship weapons: space to space attack laser. Space to ground rail gun.
Other tech: Space based and infantry infrared observation. can see inside buildings but not underground.
Human soldiers: 180
Total humans: 538
Vehicles powered by fusion reactors (do not melt down) vehicles have no self-destruct mechanisms (why would you actually have one?). Ship has an antimatter fuled warp-drive but is doesnt have enough fuel to leave the system. (Solar re-fueling will take 50 years)

Eulaliaaa!

Alright, you're in. But make sure the camp isn't too close to Redwall' s Ruins.
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

pacificmaelstrom

Ok, they dont have a camp yet. They are all sitting in space while ridge and his crew scout out a site and secure an area. (Hopefully)

Are they in the same ship as Ridge was in or are they in a different survival vessel. Cause I was think much smaller and less equipped group in my vessel. mainly children and some older care takers.

Eulaliaaa!

Maybe two different ships, or Ridge came from that ship. I'm not sure...

Okay it looks like Ridge was in her ship, that's fine.
