Optical Illusions

Here is a topic where members can share optical illusions for everyone's enjoyment Just please try not to post anything too flashy or dizzying, or at least insert a warning or spoiler. Thanks, y'all!!


My teacher pulled this on my class. If you try it in real life, it really works. Draw two lines of the same length, then add those weird things at the ends. You may be amazed.

The illusion itself does work though, it's just the artist goofed for some reason.

Not exactly an optical illusion, but it's a nifty bit of architecture, so I figured I'd throw it in there.

I love the sidewalk chalk art that some artists are amazingly good at.  If you look closely, you can see the lines of the pavement, but their drawings made the image look so real.  I tried to attach a photo, but it didn't work.  I'll have to figure that out some other time.  Just Google '3D chalk art,' that should do it.
