How is the Medieval 2? It seemed to be pretty bad from the ratings.
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

I like it, it has its down sides and the ups I suppose, If your computer is good the graphics are nice a pretty. Out of all of them I've played which is basically every single one except Rome 2, its got the best gameplay. Keep in mind I don't play the campaign, Just the online battles.

Ohhh...the campaign is really fun if you incorporate some real battles as well.

And I meant it was rated T with suggestive themes and the like.

Well you don't get to see your men take off heads like in Shogun but its violent I guess, really not any more then Rome. I suppose there might be in the campaign but whatever.

@Delthion: I've played the campaign and whoever said Medieval 2 was bad is wrong. There are some downsides, but the game is fun and the mods and expansions make it better. (AI is bad)

@LT Sandpaw: You might want to buy Attila, Rome is okay, with EE and mods but you might want to consider Attila.

Not bad, just inappropriate, that was the ERSB rating at least...

A lot of 10 year olds played RTW.  :P and the ERSB rating, yeah, for Total War games, you probably should avoid the ERSB rating.

Medieval siege battles are the best with all the cannons and stuff, plus if you know what your doing you wont lose every time to a mass of pikes blocking the way which is what everyone does in Rome 1 which is super annoying.

You don't get cannons until late game, and there are pikes in this game.

I think I played it once or twice over a friend's house. Let's just say that it didn't win me over.

Honestly, I like the Sudden Strike series better.

It would seem to be a better idea to try to just occupy the plaza, and let the towers slaughter your guys as they come near. Maybe sending some shock cavalry occasionally so that you wouldn't climb the walls to capture the towers.
