-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

I haven't caught it (yet), but there's something going around the dorms again.  I live in a biological weapon zone.  When I got it last fall, I was sick for 22 days.

Made a more or less complete recovery from that thing. Just sneezed, though. I hate sneezing. It makes everything ache.
