    Of course I choose to leave during the 4 months that mafia begins. Please PM me if there is ever a chance to join in. I may not be around here often, but I should notice an email. I do love a good game of mafia.

Apparently "soon" = "in a while" Finally I'm getting this game rolling again.


IC: "But why?" asked rrrrr.

"You're our leader. We trusted you," said Soren.

Banya looked around. Everywhere, she was surrounded. The citizens were closing in on her. Her time had come.

"Banya really is a Mafia member, then?" asked Gonff.

"Yes," replied Mhera tersely.

"An explanation would be nice," said Jet, his eyes narrowed.

Banya gritted her teeth. She knew she shouldn't have used a box to distract Sam. The others knew of her obsession with cardboard boxes. Together, they had seen the connection. But it was too late now.

"This community will die, anyway," said Banya, "And some of you haven't been productive enough. You eat our food, drink our water, use our resources, waste our time. And give nothing back. I thought I could dispose of you and be done with it. Leave this place a better one. But that wasn't to be."

"This community will never die," said Jet, "But you will."


After the execution, one lone person stood by while everyone else left to discuss what had just occurred.

"Now I'm on my own. But your death shall be avenged."

I'd really like to know how I died.

I guess by hanging, gunshot, or good ol' poison.

The citizens were gracious and allowed Banya to choose how she was killed.

Interesting. Why did we excommunicate DAB but kill Banya? We didn't know DAB was an innocent and he's out of the game either way

My thoughts, too.  Did I confess?

The citizens were more compassionate to Dibbun because of the ambiguity regarding his accusance. They didn't find any evidence for his being a part of the Mafia (because he wasn't). What they did was more of a following of the precautionary principle: getting rid of a potential threat before it might do more harm. They suspected him; they got rid of him.

Banya, however, was confirmed a member of the Mafia and even confessed it with her own mouth. Also, by the time she was convicted, even more murders had been done. The citizens didn't want to giver her mercy and they wanted to eradicate the threat.

The next Mafia member will also be killed.

I remained dignified until my last breath.  I chose to stand and be shot in the heart.
