I picked mine because I liked the Owls of Ga'hool books, and the names in Redwall, so I just mashed them up.

Interesting topic, thank you for reviving it Soren! :)

My username is actually based off the name of Rawnblade the badger from Mariel of Redwall. I like badgers, and I like his name, so I changed it a little and made it mine. After all, what is truly original in this world? I like names with "Sky", so I stuck that with "blade" instead of the aforementioned "Rawn". I don't even know what Rawn is or means.
