When i do the question mark thing I do it because im unsure. Like someone's talking about computers (i dont know anything about computers) and then theyd be talking and then its my turn to say something but i dont know if the thing was good or bad so i'll say something like "cool?"

Its also worth noting i do that when im about to have an anxiety or panic attack cause im freaking out and unsure of most things.
