All right everybody, to honor this most solemn occasion, we must insist that you do *not* throw any food or drink whatsoever. Instead, we will have a poetry reading, to acknowledge the imminent departure of some of our friends to distant foreign lands (like camp). Do any of you have anything to share?

Gonff is perfect for this.
Thanks you ever so much Sky!

May I have a go?

We sit and stare,
At the open world,
Knowing there is far more,
Than just our home.

We grasp the concept,
Not knowing what to find.
We leave our lands of home and comfort,
And venture forth deep into the world.

We feel the rush,
It tingles as we walk 'round.
The things we see and the places we go,
Yes, there is something far more than just home.

So, merry folk of this great place,
I wish you to think of, venture into , and feel the culture of the world.
Wherever is leads, another country, state, or city,
Let your heart for adventure, always leave a piece at home.

Oh, and Congratulations Banya!
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Great as always, Sir Gonff! :)

And a big congrats to Banya, our Summer Season Namer. I like the name ;)

I may write a poem of my own, hmm...
