I feel like I'm running an investigation right now as I shift through all these posts. Well, what can I say? This game is just too enjoyable! Anyway, something to point out.

. . . . . . . Gee, thanks, people. :P Am I that suspicious? (And really, you guys ought to know by now that I don't like writing a lot. Why do you think my updates take so long?!) You want a long post? Here you go, all my suspicions for all of us! (Me included.)

Anyways. . . . . Eul IS acting pretty suspicious, too quick to say 'let's kill someone.' Doesn't that raise any red flags? AND she's the one who identifies Sage as Sage. (Okay, probably really obvious, but. . . :P)

By the same token, Jet was the one who found the gas can. He just happened to find it?

And Soren - He's against voting. Well, I mean, we all are, but he's the only one who voices his opinion there. Or should I say grumbles? And Eul's point - Sor was a pyromaniac in Strangers at Redwall. Could mean nothing, could mean something.

Gonff is the one who finds Sage first. Think of that what you will. Also, he wants to bury Sage as quickly as possible - Guilty conscious? (Uuugh, I stared at that word too long.)

Rus is saying there may be more than one Mod worshiper. Says that Rrrrr could have been one - Are you trying to throw the scent off yourself there?

I'm the one who's not displaying any emotion (Most unlike me), and I'm also the one who thinks we should find out who the murderer is. (Which leads Eul to another vote.)

Now, I'm not saying I'm the Mafia, nor am I saying if I'm not. . . . . I'm merely listing my suspicions, in no particular order. Make of them what you will, I'm going to think on this for a bit. (Also, Eul, yes, I did calligraphy at one point in time. But my handwriting does look awful. It's a large scrawly mess. With very small spaces.)

It's suspicious that you are pointing to nearly everyone. It's like you're desperate to push the suspicion to everybody but yourself... I find that a little weird. You said that it didn't matter that rrrrr was innocent or guilty, just that Sage was killed. That lacks empathy for rrrr, meaning you didn't really care when he died. You also said that it mattered that we find his murderer, which was hinting at another vote, and possibly trying to get the attention off you. No Mafia would be expected to say that... hope that makes sense.

Guys, stop looking too much into the story.. Rain said she's not putting clues in them. I know I already said this many times, but she even stated that she's trying her hardest to NOT reveal the Mafia in the story. Really, it's more for entertainment. In other games, sometimes there isn't even a story. It just says, "So-and-so, a Citizen, got killed by the Mafia" ;) So, you have to decide who is Mafia based on how everyone acts during the day alone. Yeah, I've been looking at other games, too. It's cool.

This, I'm sorry but I don't think either of your points here with the accusations are very reliable pieces of evidence.

Also everyone, keep in mind the Cupid couple. We can't do anything about it, since it's already made and there are little clues indicating who it is (who know, it could be a same gender pair). But I'm still very aware of it.

EDIT: Guys, I've thought about this and gone through all the old posts, and I've decided to change my vote to Cornflower. Please don't be mad at me, and don't blow up if I happen to be wrong. However, the evidence seems to make lynching her, rather than Eul, a better choice. Remember that it's just a game, and I mean no hard feelings. Thank you all :)

Ahem...Corn. What does that mean?  >:(
rrrrr.....

Ho arr, mateys, swimming is fun!

I had shrimp 'n' hotroot soup today.

Skyblade

I don't want to start a fight or argument.

I honestly am still not very convinced that Corny is Mafia, but I feel like it would be less worse to lynch her than Eul (considering some of Eul's posts).

And maybe Corny is Mafia; I wouldn't know.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

She accused me so she must be it :P "Attack is the best defense"

Oh, yes, let's kill the innocent! *Sarcastic cheer* Because, you know, I'm totally LESS innocent than Eul. Hmph. Look at who's throwing all the accusations around.

What does WHAT mean now?!

Skyblade

Eul said we would regret lynching her. Well, it could be a ruse to make us rethink our votes, but still. I really don't want to kill the Cop or Medic (For all we know, one or even both could be dead already). Then again, Corny might be one of them, but I feel like she would have said something if she was.

Also, rrrrr is dead. He shouldn't be in this argument :P ;D

Please, guys, don't let this escalate.

I'm just gonna leave now, before I do another one of those posts.. . . You know, the ones where I blow my top, then come back in two hours and do an editing job. . . .

I am sorry if I have caused negative emotions, which I sadly believe I have. That was not at all my intention.

Mod: I'm sick of watching this cycle of people arguing vehemently over limited no evidence and getting upset over it. It's a game. If somebody dies they die. You still got to play more of the game than Jasper did.

When Rain comes back, the game will continue. Until then, leave this topic be.

Thank you for saying that, James.  I couldn't have put it any better myself.

As he said, you guys, this is A GAME.  This is not something you should break friendships over, or blow up over.  Leave the anger and arguments for Monopoly, and let this game be a fun and friendly one.  If you die, well, you die.  That doesn't mean you can't join future games!  It just means that you won't win this particular one.

With that said, I bring you the next post, which I apologize for being so late with.  My week has been very busy and I haven't had a lot of time or energy to write, so I just now was able to take some time to do it today.  I hope you'll forgive me for my tardiness.

  *  *  *

By the time the members had finished burying Sage and had placed their votes in Soren's cap, the sun was starting to shine red through the trees.  A red dawn had arrived.  Usually this dawn was something to be admired - something that people would "ooh" and "ah" at - but this morning, it just served as a cruel reminder that another loved friend had died.

Soren, who had once again been given the task of reading off the votes, took a deep breath as he pulled the first name from the hat.  "...Eul," he said, glancing at the shocked face of the girl standing not too far from him.

"Wh-what?  I... I don't even..."  Eulalia's voice trailed off as she shook her head in fear and confusion.

No one knew how to respond to her shocked exclamation, so Soren just cleared his throat and continued.  "Um... Corn.  The second vote is for Corn."

A yelp escaped from Corn's mouth before she could stop it, and her hands flew up to her mouth.  She looked around at the other hikers, eyes wide with fear.  "How could you even think that?" she asked.

Again, the other members could provide no answer.

"Er, the third vote is for... Corn.  Two for Corn."

This time, Corn had no response other than to shake her head again.

"Fourth is... is Eulalia.  That's two for her."

The only sign Eulalia gave that showed she had registered this information was a quiet hiccup-like sob as she stared at Soren.

As Soren pulled the next torn page out of the hat, he grimaced.  "The fifth vote is for Corn," he said, glancing at said member.  "That's... that's three.  You get one more and you're... well, you know."

Corn started shaking with terror, glancing at Eulalia and finding herself wishing that the others would vote for Eul instead of herself.

Soren pulled the sixth vote out of the hat and stared at it for a moment before saying in a whisper, "Corn..."

Corn took a step back from the others, her hands still covering her mouth as she shook visibly.  "No... no... no, no, no!  You've got it all wrong!  It's not me!"

"I'm so sorry, Corn," said Eulalia, who did indeed look sorrowful, but a bit relieved as well, "but you were voted for.  That means we... we have to..."

"...Kill you," Rus finished, his face set in a stony expression as he tried to hide his emotions.

"B-but why?" Corn whimpered, taking a small step back from the group.

"Because we have to," Skye replied as tears started falling down her face.  "Please, please don't make this harder for the rest of us, Corny."

Cornflower's jaw dropped and her hands fell from her mouth.  "Harder for you?  Harder for you?  You all want to kill me and you don't want me to make it harder for you?  Oh, I could laugh at how ridiculous that sounds!"

The other members exchanged worried glances with one another, very uncomfortable with how Corn was responding to all of this.

"You know what?" Corn continued, glaring at each of them in turn.  "I think I should just leave, if it's so hard for you all to kill me.  Goodbye!"  And with that, she was off, running as though her life depended on it, which it did.

"C'mon!" Rus exclaimed, starting after Corn.  The other members followed suit, running through the woods after the fleeing girl.  However, they didn't have to run far before they had caught up to her, as she'd gotten her coat snagged on a tree branch.

Seizing this opportunity, Soren plucked a large rock from the ground and aimed at Cornflower, saying, "If you move, you're dead!"

Corn's head snapped around, her face showing surprise, but a sneer quickly replaced the alarm.  "You're gonna kill me anyway, so what's the point?"  As she said this, she quickly untangled her coat from the tree and took off again.

Fully expecting this reaction, Soren chucked the rock at her.  It never hit its mark, for a loud "NO!" resounded through the air and Jet dived into the path of fire, the rock striking him in the face.  He hit the ground with a loud thud, the life already having departed from his body because of the force of the blow to his skull.

Corn whipped around just in time to see Jet fall and let loose an ear-piercing, anguished cry.  "You killed him!" she shrieked.  "You killed Jet!"

Soren was unable to look away from Jet's body, horrified at what he'd just done.  He killed Jet.  He was aiming for Corn, but he'd killed Jet.

The others, Corn noticed, were staring at Jet as well, paralyzed with shock.  She wanted to stay and mourn his death, but she realized that this was her chance.  With one last look at the body, Corn ran once again, this time not being followed by anyone.  This was good; she didn't want anyone to see the tears she was now shedding.

Cornflower didn't stop running until she'd made it to the edge of the woods.  The sun was high in the sky at this point, and she was sure that the others had already buried Jet by this point.  She wondered if they'd try to come after her.  But there would be no point; she would never return to these woods, even if her life depended on it.  She would never return to those people she thought were her friends.  And she would never be able to return to the boy she loved; the boy Soren had killed.

No, she wouldn't think about that.  Not yet.  It was too soon to be thinking about that.  So, instead of think, Corn started toward the road, hoping she'd be able to hitchhike her way home.  The sooner she could get away from these woods, the better.

Eul, I trusted you on this one. I hope it was the better decision.

Anyway, I was wondering if the Cupid thing would affect the story. Turns out it did, and I'm personally glad we don't have to worry about it anymore after this. I am also glad the couple didn't involve me.

I have tried my best, but this game, sadly, looks close to lost. I will not give up, however. If I lose, I shall lose with honor, fighting until I cannot anymore.

Anyway, I feel like Gonff might be Mafia. But I am not sure.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

Eulaliaaa!

So... if Corny and Jet were the couple... Wait, so the Cupid didn't know who was Mafia/Detective/Medic/Citizen, so they could've been paired with anyone. That doesn't mean Corn wasn't Mafia, right? Mafia can be a couple?

The Cupid doesn't know who anyone is, which means that yes, Corn could have been Mafia.  She could have also been the Medic or the Detective, or even the Cupid herself (although why she'd want to make herself a lover, I have no idea).

*breathes sigh of relief* ok, I thought we'd messed up big time... well, no one knows for sure until the very end of the game.
