Has anyone (Other than me) here read the Inkheart trilogy? It's really cool. I'm currently re-reading book two.

Jetthebinturong

Not the entire trilogy. I've read Inkheart and Inkspell but I can't remember them well. I'll get to it eventually. Just as soon as I finish The Warrior Heir, A Darker Shade of Magic, The Fifth Wave, Shadow and Bone, Red Rising, Cinder, Control, The Silence of Six, Reboot, The Raven Boys, The Ask and the Answer, Monsters of Men, Crown of Midnight, Heir of Fire and Plain Kate. Not necessarily in that order.

. . . . . That's a ot of books.
Who's your favorite character? I think mine's Dustfunger or Fenoglio.
I've been thinking about writing an Inkheart one-shot . . . . . Not sure if I will. =Just a little fluffy piece between Roxana and Dustfiger.

Dustfinger is definitely my favourite character. Him or the Black Prince anyway.

As a matter of fact, I have read those- not long after Inkspell was released. Unfortunately, I finished the first two books before the third was released, and I haven't read that one yet. Needless to say, it's been so long I don't remember much about them except a jester of some kind.

A jester? I don;t think I've run into him yet. . . .. Although it sounds familiar.

The spoiler that everyone got on my case for
And guys, guess what! I do remember from book three that Dustfinger does come back to life!

::) Yes, I know that. But it's a happy spoiler! And besides, it's not like I said anything about how he comes back to life - Which I can't remember - just that he DOES eventually end up coming back.

I thought you'd be semi-happy to hear that, anyways.

"It's a happy spoiler" isn't really a good reason to give it away without any warning. It's as bad as saying
actual bonafide Inkspell spoiler
"the mute servant girl in the first book is the girl's mom".

I love those books! I've read them many times over. I like the Bluejay best, I made his mask from the feathers of a bluejay my dog killed.

Awesome mask, Leatho! Very cool.

Sure. I read em, some time ago. Can't say I remember anything about them, except that the girl reads books and they come to life, or something like that...

Or maybe it's just cause I'm really tired.

Not exactly, Pockets dear. She inherited a gift from her father - Reading characters out of books. Of course, if something comes out, something must go in.

I read the first one months ago, and it was pretty good.  I was thinking of reading the other two, but then I found out on Common Sense Media and Focus on the Family that they both have some sexual stuff, so I decided against it. :-\
