  It could be, but modern art could also be a white canvas with multicoloured paint spatter on it.  Modern art could be a shape reminiscent of a man's face, or a simple bold yellow stripe on a blue canvas.  Modern art comes in many forms, and even if not a lot of skill is required to create it, effort and emotion still goes into every piece.

  And haha, Turricurr is a nickname for Trico (it's literally what the main character shouts whenever you call for them) from The Last Guardian.
