Regarding Jasper: That's what I thought too. I don't even know him, but I do know of his reputation as a smart person (as shown in Overlord's Orders).

I don't see myself as smart and perceptive, though. If the Mafia actually sees me as a threat, I'm glad. I'll take that as a compliment. Though if I am a threat, it's probably because of my clear enthusiasm and motivation in the game.

I know I have made my accusations, but I just thought of something. The murder weapon was a flower pot which holds flowers. This probably will make no sense, but it may be referring to Cornflower.

After the end of the funeral, the group was taken to the police station, where the chief said, "Well, since you were all with the victim at the time of the murder, one of you will have to be... detained." Plugg gasped.

"But, sine the flower pot was cracked, essentially smashed, we can't make a full finger print. No one matches. So," he said, "we took some investigative liberties and looked into everyone's files. Looks like Ms. Blade was just a civilian, albeit one with the dirt one everyone and everything romantic." He sighed. "If, uh, Mr. Rrrrr could come with me."

Rrrrr backed away. "What? Huh? I never did nothing..."

Gonff jerked his thumb toward the police station. "You heard what he said. And use proper grammar."

Leatho frowned. "He didn't do anything."

Jet looked a little angry. "Hey, the police are the police."

Leatho was outraged. "WHAT? You're defending them?!"

Corn nodded. "It is the law. If they want to detain him, then that's that."

Rrrrr said, "I can't believe you're working against your own friend."

While he was yelling, he didn't notice the officers creeping up on him. They clapped a hand over his mouth and handcuffed him, frogmarching rrrrr to the station. The chief nodded in approval, then guestured to Leatho. "take that 'un as well, he's trouble."

Everybody was shocked by this sudden turn of events. Two of theirs, taken by the police? The other officers held open the car doors, ready to escort the group away from the station.

ROUND TWO (DAY) HAS ENDED, WITH RRRRR AND LEATHO TAKEN AWAY.

1. I understand from the text that you're referring to me as the Cupid (sorry Leatho and Rrrrr, I didn't know who to pair and you're both otters). Which roles were Rrrrr and Leatho, exactly? Citizen, cop, doctor?

2. Are the clues in your story more on the obvious side or the subtle side? How would you describe them?

It's hard. From what I saw after the last bit of story with clues, people were quick to jump to conclusions and overanalysed everything. Some things were right, and some things were wrong. I would say more on the subtle side, but since I wrote it my view is biased.

As for the roles, Leatho and Rrrrr are both completely innocent and normal citizens.

I'm leaning toward Plugg. He gasped when they said someone was getting detained. Maybe in fear of being discovered.
For the record, I didn't vote for Rrrrr.

In my opinion. It's either Gonff or Cornflower, based on the clue that Gonff posted in the previous round and the fact that he was so gruff when talking to Rrrrr.

I seem to be getting a lot of nasty glances lately. Perhaps I should defend myself.

1) I laughed and said a dark mall was not creepy.

That really sounds like a personal preference to me. Also, laughing airily is very different than laughing nervously. I was obviously at ease, not twitching and a bit off, like someone who was about to kill someone else might be.

2) I said I would not hurt Sky.

If you have been the forum at all for the past year or so, you should understand why.

3) I gasped when the police said they were going to detain someone.

You are with your friends and your best friend suddenly and mysteriously dies. Then the police are acting as if some of your other friends committed that crime. That would be a bit much to handle, would it not? Also, I imagine that we all got little to no sleep. It is not like I blew up a building - I just gasped.
