Okay, I'm posting my thoughts just in case I die tonight. Since it's Saturday morning and I'm a bit sick, might as well take the time to go through the entire thread and look at Del, Ash, and Rrrrr better

For the record, listen. THE MAFIA HAS TO BE IN DEL, ASH, AND RRRRR. One or two Mafia left, I don't know. And yes, I know I am not in the clear as well, but I know I'm Town so obviously I'm not looking at myself

We may be in a great place, Town (two confirmed innocents), but we still must give it our all. Mafia are tricky people, and from what I've seen they actually pull off many victories.

Now, thoughts.

Rrrrr

In the Mafia forum, we call people who don't post often "lurkers". Rrrrr (or R for short) falls under that category. Very much. Now, lurking DOES NOT instantly mean someone is Mafia, but it's anti-town and sometimes DOES lead to Mafia.

He has not really contributed to the discussion, only voting the first few rounds. And lately hasn't posted something helpful at all. Though it's worth nothing that he hasn't been active on the forum at all lately. If he was an active forum member who was just skipping over this thread (that was Soren and Jet's strategy when they were Mafia), I would be more suspicious. But he hasn't been on very much at all. So perhaps his inactivity is because of that.

Nevertheless, he could be Mafia and that bothers me a lot. It is really hard to read someone with few posts.

From his posts, I can't tell much. I don't know how good an action this is, but I'm going for it. @Detective: I will not force you into anything. But I personally would check out Rrrrr. The fact that he's not posting makes it very hard to tell his alignment. A cop check on him would really help. Thank you.

Tl; DR: Rrrrr's inactivity bothers me, but it's true that he hasn't been active on the forum at all lately. Still, he could be Mafia and we wouldn't know it. I personally recommended that the Detective check him since it's so hard to tell where he stands since he's not active. Just a suggestion.

Also hasn't been active lately, which is strange. Oh, he is on forum break. But even before then, his post count on this thread has been falling.

Earlier, he was very engaged. But later the enthusiasm flagged. This could be because the game was slowing down. Or what if it was because he knew the Mafia was starting to lose, and it made him lose enthusiasm? Because he IS Mafia?

He did question me a few times, with good posts. Hmm. But Mafia could do that too.

I think Mhera's argument on him is solid. Still, can we really trust Mhera? This is what makes silent rounds harder...if we knew which alignment she was, we could know how to take her posts.

It's interesting that in Day 1, he voted me so he wouldn't "seal someone's fate". Wait, but I'm actually thinking this is a Town tell. At the time, the current leading votes were on me, Sand, and Ash.

If Del was Mafia: Sand or Ash could be his partner. Then it would be logical to vote for the other person, to save his Mafia partner. OR, if he was partners with someone else, it would make still sense to try to vote out an innocent person.

But if he was Town, it would make sense to be hesitant!

He does seem very engaged in the game. Interesting.

Really not sure.

Tl; DR: Certain actions look Town, but his enthusiasm (and lack of it later) is a bit unsettling.

He voted for Sand a lot. Day 1, and Day 2...he followed Soren and Jet and voted Sand. He hasn't spoke much. Is he hiding?

I'm leaning Mafia on Ash, I think. Just a little. Ugh, this is so dang hard. It's true that it's VERY easy for him to blend in, but it could be from inexperience.

Right, sorry, I'm on it. . . . . Right after I go refresh my memory. Don't expect this to make much sense. It's getting who's killed who's supposed to die. Okay? Don't read into the story. Just don't.

Ash woke up early and started wandering around the hotel alone. He knew it probably wasn't the best idea, considering the forum member murders, but he just couldn't lay in his bed and wait for everyone else to wake up. He did avoid the stairs where Rock and Eul had been killed, though, and he definitely stayed away from the pool.

He wandered into the lobby and saw that the desk person wasn't there. He frowned, "Lazy people." He muttered under his breath. Then Ash heard a sound a noise behind him, and he started to turn when someone hit him on the head, hard. Ash fell on the floor, unconscious, then the figure made sure he'd never wake up by hitting him on the head with the shovel two more times. Then the figure walked over the set of stairs that was closest, walked down, and presumably went back to it's room after vanishing down the stairs for a few minutes later. But right after it had shut the door behind it, the desk person came back from the bathroom and found Ash.

I assume you don't need me to tell you what to do. There's no clues in there, so don't look. I realize that piece probably sucks, but just don't look at it again.

Town has good odds of voting out the Mafia today.

Okay, looking at Del and Rrrrr's profiles, BOTH were active today. So even though they haven't been posting, they've still been around. They could have both PMed the night kill.

You guys, if you have time, please post.

I think Del has been acting a bit strange. He has been the most enthusiastic about this game for reasons I don't know, reviving and posting in it to keep it going. It could be because he really likes the game. Or does he have a role that makes the game more interesting?

But I can't ignore that on Day 1, he didn't want to seal someone's fate. That comes off more as Town, because Mafia would WANT to vote out innocents (or at least make other people vote out innocents). Especially in a silent round, in which no alignment is revealed and thus people can't get blamed for voting out innocents. On the other hand, this could have been a façade to make himself seem more Town.

Though, the fact that Mhera (one of my suspects) also posted in suspicion of Del unnerves me.

Rrrrr, on the other hand, doesn't post much. Like he's trying to hide. Like Soren and Rus, the Mafia members in Round 2, who flew by the game with mild posts that didn't draw suspicion to them until we were down to five people.

I'm assuming we can change our votes, since I've taken the responsibility of keeping track of them. Vote: Rrrrr

I will vote Del. I still think that Mhera was Mafia, and it seems like the kind of move she would make to question Del, to throw suspicion of them being together off. Also, what Sky said about Del reviving and then not posting. He wants to keep the game going, but doesn't know how to play as a villain without drawing suspicion, so he doesn't post.

I agree with Sor and I'm in awe of how I could not have considered Mhera's plan Also, his attitude is consistent of an eager Mafia's, indeed.

The joking Corny mentioned is something I can imagine Del (or Mhera, additionally) doing. And I don't see Rrrrr joking like that, not so much.

Oh. Oops. Okay, then. SORRY DELI. Also, I can't really remember who was rooming with who, so I'm just saying that R and Del roomed together, Soren, Jet, and Ash were roomies, and Sky, being the only girl left, is by herself

The desk lady's screams echoed through the hotel. Skyblade shot up from a light sleep and jumped out of bed, almost literally bumping into Jet in the hallway. Soren was right behind him. "Sky, are you okay? Why did you scream?" Soren asked, peering around Jet as R opened his door. "That wasn't me. I'm fine." Sky said, starting for the stairs, "It must have been the lady at the desk."
"Hey! Where's Ash and Del?" R asked his friend's backs. "Don't know! Come on." Sky urged.

When the four got to the lobby, they saw Ash laying on the floor, his head bloody, and the desk lady was standing by the bathroom door, her hand over her mouth. She was obviously terrified. Jet crossed the room, carefully skirting Ash's corpse, and grabbed a chair. The lady sat in it gladly, "Thank you. W-we should c-c-call the police." She said, looking towards the phone. Just then Del burst into the room, "Guys, you should have woken me up- Holy Valar, what happened?" He asked, stopping dead in his tracks. "Where were you? You weren't in our room when I woke up." R asked, frowning. "And how could you not hear that scream?" Added Soren, crossing his arms. "Never mind that now, we need to call the police and tell them what has happened." The secretary said, standing up and walking to the phone.

When the police arrived, they looked around, then huddled together and shooed away anyone who strayed within earshot. When they separated again, two went to the stairs and one eyeballed the teenagers while the fourth whispered to the secretary for a moment and got a key. Then he beckoned to Jet, "Come with me. The rest of you, stay here. Dan will be here, so don't even think about any funny business." He said before walking to a room.

One they were in the room, the cop settled himself on the bed closest to the door and gestured for Jet to sit on the other one. After he'd sat, the police officer leaned forward. "Would you care to tell me everything that's been going on here the past few days from your point of view? Please, just the truth. If you're innocent, you have nothing to fear." He asked. His tone was casual but his eyes raked over the teenager's face. After a moment, Jet started talking. . . .

When he came out half an hour later, Jet seemed to be deep in thought. He glanced up, "Skye, he wants you now." He said before heading to a corner, seemingly to think. Skyblade got up from her patch of floor somewhat nervously. She looked at the three officers, for reassurance, one smiled and motioned for her to go on. So she did. After Skye sat down on the bed Jet had vacated, the officer told her the same thing: "Would you care to tell me everything that's been going on here the past few days from you point of view? Please, just the truth. If you're innocent the you have nothing to fear." Without any hesitation at all, Skyblade started talking, almost stumbling over her words as she ruched to get them out.

Thirty minutes later, Skyblade walked out of the room drying her eyes. After looking around for a moment, she said, "Hey, Soren? It's your turn." She smiled at him, then walked over by Jet and sat about a foot away. Soren had been leaning against the wall, and now pushed off of it and sauntered towards the room. Casually pushing the door shut, he crossed his arms and faced the cop, "I didn't do it." He said. The cop shrugged. "Well, then, you've nothing to fear by telling me what happened here, do you? As truthfully as possible, please. And do sit down." Soren sat, his arms still crossed, and began to talk.

When he walked back out about forty-five minutes later, everyone was eating bagels. Soren headed for the food, walking around the area where Ash had died (His body was gone by that time, of course) and grabbed a bagel, "R, go on in." Then he started eating. Grabbing another bagel, he headed towards the two who'd already been questioned. R walked slowly to the room. He wouldn't admit it, but he was slightly scared. Skye and Jet hadn't told them what was going on in the room, and R had a feeling Soren wouldn't, either. "Hello, R. Care to have a seat?" The cop asked. After R sat, the officer asked him the question yet again. And R happily started talking.

Twenty five minutes later, R walked out, whistling. Del stood up from where he'd been sitting, "Let me guess. It's my turn now." R nodded, then skipped over to his friends. "What's got you so cheery?" Del snapped. R shrugged, "You'll see." Del stomped over to the door, muttering something under his breath. What did you say?" One of the other police officers asked. Del shrugged, "Nothing important." Then he went in, slamming the door behind him. "Please, sit. Would you care to tell me what happened over the past few days from your point of view, as truthfully as possible?" The officer asked, motioning to the bed. Del leaned against the door and, after a moment of hesitation, opened his mouth.

An hour and a half later, the door opened for the last time and Del walked out, followed by the police officer. "Thank you, everyone, you've been most helpful." The officer said, clearing his throat. Everyone stood up, except for the secretary, who'd fallen asleep. "After talking with all of you, I've drawn a few conclusions. Something that I knew from the beginning of this whole mess is that this was actually set up by another member of the forum you all frequent. A Cornflower MM. If you would like to scream at someone for all the death and how screwed up your lives have become, direct it all her way, will you? Now, there were two people working together to kill the rest of you off. These two people were Mhera, whom you killed. Death by jumping, that's a new one. The second one, I shall get to in a moment. Skyblade was responsible for saving Jetthebinturong's and Soren the Warrior's lives. Soren the Warrior has been investigating quite a few of you, both with the help of Cornflower MM. And Jetthebinturong's one who matched up Captain Rocktree and Eulaliaaa! Everyone else, I'm afraid, was innocent. Sorry about that. By the way, did you have to defenestrate LT Sandpaw? That was messy."

The officer paused, looking annoyed. "Anyway. The other person who was killing y'all off was Delthion. Have at 'em, kids, if you'd like. You deserve it." So saying, the cop shoved Del forward. He stumbled and caught himself on Soren's arm. Soren shook him off, a look of disgust on his face. Looking around at his former friend's murderous expressions, Del looked at the exit and then ran for it like a startled hare. Throwing open the door, he paused and looked over his shoulder. "It was fun while it lasted, guys. Good bye!"

Skyblade picked up a paperweight and threw it at his head. Del ducked and gave them one last trademark grin before running out the door. There was the sound of squealing brakes and an ominous thump. A moment later, Cornflower ran inside. "Did I just run over Del?!" Looking around, she figured that this was so. "Oh, well. No harm done." She said said with a shrug. "NO HARM DONE, CORNY?!" Jet, Skye, R, and Soren screamed at her.

Ducking another thrown paperweight (This one thrown by Jet) she held up her hands. "Guys, guys, calm down. This all actually a dream! None of this happened! I actually didn't run over Del, you never jumped on Mhera until she died, you guys didn't push Sandy out the window, Mhera never tried to drown Jet - I was so thankful I didn't have to write that - and Del didn't hit Ash on the head with a shovel until he died! Because none of this happened. I repeat, it was all a dream. Speaking of which, I think it's time you all woke up." Corny clapped three times, and then everyone started disappearing.

Later, Corn logged onto the forum and saw that there was new posts on the DWOM topic. She grinned.

"That was fun."

Well? Whatcha think? Did you have fun this round? (And sorry this post is so long. I think I got carried away. Heh.)
