Saw that. :) Russa?
What?  I don't understand what Russa has to do with this...
"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater." ~J.R.R. Tolkien

To the 13 and under people out there: "Aren't you a little young to be foruming?"
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Gonff the Mousethief

I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

By who's standards? Because, honestly, it's really all a matter of opinion, isn't it? I've been here for two years, and this is the first time that issue has come up. Again, young by who's standards? Should I ask my parents if I can read Redwall? Should I ask my parents about everything I want to read or do? I find that a bit ridiculous. (No offense to those who do that. I just find it a bit too overprotective)

Why would we be too young?
Never trust a smiling pirate.  :D

I can do that because I'm awesome.

"It really gets up my nose when publishers call my book another Lord of the Rings. It's my bloody book! I wrote it. And another thing, I didn't have to plunder Norse and European mythology to do it!" - Brian Jacques.

There's little need to take Sage's post so defensively.  He was being humourous.  That the answer is so obvious is sufficient to prove it.
