Anyone else on here play Catan?
Never trust a smiling pirate.  :D

I can do that because I'm awesome.

"It really gets up my nose when publishers call my book another Lord of the Rings. It's my bloody book! I wrote it. And another thing, I didn't have to plunder Norse and European mythology to do it!" - Brian Jacques.

Gonff the Mousethief

Yas! I love to play it with my friend when I go over to his house and vice versa.
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

I really want to learn how to play it! I own the game, But haven't had the time to figure out how to play it  :P.
Not all those who wander are lost.

It's easy after you figure it out.

I love to play this game, so much so that I asked for and received it for Christmas last year.

I've got all five of them plus the dice game.

How's the dice game?  It looks interesting, but I've never played.

I love Catan. I own it and Seafarers, and a Starfarers of Catan game. I usually end up making the board as big as possible- empire building is really very enjoyable. My only complaint about the game: There's no military aspect of it ::)

I may love taking over the world a bit too much...
"'Tis the business of small minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."
-Thomas Paine

"Integrity and firmness is all I can promise; these, be the voyage long or short, shall never forsake me although I may be deserted by all men."
-George Washington

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

What's Catan? It sounds fun. Is it anything like Risk?
"The power of darkness is mine. At last I am free to reign destruction as I please. This world will be consumed, and you will be crushed. I am Mozaru, Lord of Night and Shadow." -Excerpt from The Chronicles of Light and Darkness. (A book I'm writing.)

The dice game isn't as good but you can play single player so I do it when I'm bored.

If you get Cities and Knights it adds some more military aspect to it.

The space one is my favourite. physically upgrading your ship as you play is so satisfying.

I have the board version with the 5-6 player vanilla expansion, the dice game, the Android version, and the Steam version.

I am also ready at any point to trade these three bricks for wheat, if anyone has any to spare.
