The iPhone 6s and iPad Pro look pretty cool, But I dont think Ill be paying $99 for the iPencile anytime soon...

Sweet! I'm gonna hold out for one more year. By that time, the 5C hardware will be 4 years old, but I'm betting on iOS 9 to get me through long enough for me to get on the even year cycle. I want the 7.

It's only for iPad Pro anyway, so it'd only be feasible if you've already dropped at least $750 on the Pro in the first place.

It should have everything that the 6S has, and there's already an early rumor that it's going to be very thin, around 6mm. (A whole millimeter thinner then the 6S Plus.)

What's the big deal with thinness? It only serves to have a more delicate supercomputer sitting in your pocket.

I think it's cool. And with that new aluminum, it's not delicate  at all.

I prefer iOS over Android.
I also have to use OS X, but primarily because of its *NIX heritage.  iTerm2 is awesome.
Nobody here probably cares about the terminal

I have to say that the terminal and that heritage are the two things that've caused me a lot of grief in OS X. It keeps tricking me into thinking that I, like all those elitist Linux users, can "build from source", an endeavor that always takes up hours of time and never, ever succeeds.

That's one thing I especially like about the classic Macintosh system: no obvious terminals anywhere in sight.
