To get back on topicwhat even is cold tea it's disgusting here are some things at least Galli and J can probably relate to. The rest of you just wait. It's coming.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT EVEN IS COLD TEA?! WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE DRINK?! HOW DO YOU SURVIVE?!
Cold tea to Banya and @Jet the binturong and anyone else sadly uninformed, is green tea (Or sometimes black) that has sugar in it! In other words, that delicious thing we Southerners drink like water - Sweet (Or unsweet) tea. It ain't exotic, but who cares, it's just as good as that other stuff.
I know what it is, I've tried it and found it disgusting. Only old women drink iced tea, and that's just because their taste buds are dead. :D I'm with Sand in the lemonade stand.

But you know what's funny? My mother was at the Atlanta airport for a while, and wanted some sweet tea from McDonald's. But she found that it didn't actually carry sweet tea, but it carries it everywhere else! ;D
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

You can put sugar in hot tea...

I'm sure you can. But it's not the same. It's still hot tea. . .  To be fully enjoyed, it should be refrigerated. And drunk with ice.

I'm not a big tea drinker, or a coffee drinker for that matter.

But iced tea is a staple part of southern culture. If you look at a map of the US, the ones with all the little pictures representing each area, the south is almost always depicted with iced tea. Which according to most people is a very good drink. I beg to differ, I'm more of a lemonade fan myself, but to each their own I guess.

Lemonade? Really? Lemonade is so. . . . . . Lemonadey.

Seriously though. . . . . What do y'all drink?

The only cold tea I've really liked was raspberry tea. (I want to make it sometime.) My preference is hot tea.

*takes a deep breath* Regularly, mostly water as well as hot tea, bubble tea, Dr. Pepper, Starbucks' iced lattes and frappaccinos (not because I particularly love them but because they're free for me), lemonade, milk, chocolate milk, smoothies, hard cider, beer, margaritas, and other alcoholic drinks. And this time of year, hot apple cider. I have more drinks and drink mixes than food in my pantry. :D

What about you, Peo? If you drink too much tea, it messes with your iron levels and you won't be able to donate blood.

I mostly drink water and half and half tea. (Half sweet, half unsweet) And I don't have plans to donate blood.

I guess that makes me Granny Gryphon. ;)

I think black tea is much more common than green tea, among the sweet-tea-drinking community. Don't quote that as gospel, though.

I drink... water. And water. I mean, that is what we're supposed to drink. I never have to worry about getting fat from drinking too much water. You don't get a sugar high from water. You don't get dehydrated from water. You don't get bad breath from water. You don't get drunk or hyper from water. And it's pretty much free.
