Okay. They do odd things at bad times. And they hurt when they're not supposed to. Better?

If you're experiencing shoulder pain- its probably a good idea to figure out the root cause of this pain. It's your body's way of telling you that something is wrong. Could be overturning. Or you might need to improve your form and also to use certain stretches. If you don't find a way to solve this issue/change something it will only get worse with time. Shoulder problems down the road isn't something to be taken lightly.

Now mind you I don't know much or actually anything about dance/dancing but the above holds true in most sports/physical activities. Have you talked to your instructor about this problem ?

Goodness, Grond! It's really nothing major. But thank you! I really appreciate it. I just need to strengthen them - Ballet and jazz use different shoulder muscles that I'm just not used to using.

Ahh sorry. I guess I just had in hindsight what happened to my buddy who ended up with a pretty bad case of shoulder impingement from benching. What was initially minor pain only while benching (and ignored) turned into excruciating pain while doing any movement with his shoulders. Rotator cuff injuries, the most commonly injured muscle in the shoulders, can be pretty nasty.

But didn't mean to over exaggerate your discomfort or anything, so I'm sorry about that...

Oh, no, it's okay! I promise! Don't feel bad! Oh no, that's awful. Is he any better? Really, thanks for caring. :) Most of this lot don't bother to say much anymore. :P I guess you could say I'm out of practice with it.
