I see what you did there. But yeah, exactly.

You know how I call people "dear" a lot, Skar? Well Al saw me call Ashleg "dear" and got the correct idea.

Fixed that for you

I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Does anyone else have a problem with secondhand fandoms?  Like, fandoms that you aren't in but you want to be.  For whatever reason, you can't watch the show/movie or read the book, so instead you read all about it and eventually know almost much as a real fan would, getting hit with tons of spoilers in the process and dreaming of the day you can decide whether to make the leap to sell your soul to the thing or not.

Huh.. can't say I have ever been in that situation. What series is it for you?

Supernatural, actually.  The show does seem a bit edgy (skewed theology, some immorality), and a good part of me wonders if it would be a bad idea to watch it.  At the same time, it looks pretty entertaining. XP  Of course, I wouldn't be able to watch it until I move out, so it's a moot issue at this point.  #firstworldproblems
