No, it's not my opinion, it's your fault.

I honestly didn't know what to expect as I read that, but I DID NOT expect THAT!

Anglo, by any change?

No, it's Angle. England comes from Angle-land. An English person is properly called an Angle.
Well, I was going by "Anglo-Saxon" which I was stupid enough to associate with England, which it was, but not in a game-changing way.

I need to look into my history books again.

The Anglo-saxons did live in England and were invaded by the Normans.

The Normans. Not French. That mistake is made far too much.

The Normans were also gradually assimilated in with the English culture, with rulers speaking English and (Shock and horror) not French.

I never said they were French. But they did live in Normandy, before invading what is now England. But the language spoke at court was French for a very long time. Until the Black Prince changed it to the language of the people and invented this idea of being, English. He made the whole be proud to be an English-man thing.

The Normans didn't invade; they took back what was rightfully theirs.

Harold promised William a throne that wasn't his, and he only did it to keep his head. I don't think the promise of a prisoner is enough to grant you righteous possession of a country.
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

My great ancestor said that it was rightfully his. Are you calling him a liar?
